As they get themselves confortable on the territory of the enemy, for a second it seems that Lily is going to get up and leave, but before she has the chance Iara speaks first.

"Hallo! It got to my attention that you guys were assholes to my friend here. I would like an apology please. " Carol scoffs and shoves Josh like he hasn't heard what she just said. Anastacia spends a little time thinking if she should talk, as she is about to decide against it when she hears Iara say. "And by the way, this whole high school queen bee is like sooo 1995"  Once again Anastacia feels her face getting hot, being around this girl is not good for her nerves. the cheerleader has to hold herself from saying all the offenses she can think of the top of her head.

‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎"Iara. A first sign of the beginning of understanding is the wish to die. Why don't you understand everything?" Lily and Josh don't really understand and Carol was not paying attention, but after being surprised that someone talked to her Iara turns to Anastacia, seeming offended.

"Oh, you don't even need to turn into a big ass cockroach for me to be disgusted by you."  Anastacia is taken back because this is the first time someone gets one of hers references this quickly, she doesn't think too much of it because they're studying his works for AP English so it's probably a coincidence. Carol goes to eat one of the brownies and her hand is slapped by Iara, and of all the things Iara did this is the one that makes the brazilian actually angry.

"Stop fighting like that, just call her a bitch, puta." Josh laughs because after six years of having a brazilian friend they learned exactly six words. Puta (bitch) Porra (fuck) Caralho (fuck) cu (asshole) Gente (guys) Oi (hi). Iara didn't show a sin, she frowns and points at Anastacia but looks at Carol while saying.

"Gretchen, you should ask permission from Regina before speaking."  Josh and Lily laugh, which makes Anastacia even more annoyed. This Iara girl seems unaffected by everything and is actually confronting the Trio.

Anastacia looks at the two of them, one is eating a brownie like nothing is happening, locking eyes with everyone at the table and smiling, the other one has a frown, hasn't touched her food since sitting down and is not looking at anybody, there's one clear weak point. Ana smiles and relaxes looking at Iara.

"So... you came here to defend the honor of your little girlfriend?"  For the first time she has a reaction, Iara almost chokes and Lily looks mortified, all the color vanishing from her face, Anastacia's smile gets even bigger and she continues "Oh, was that a secret? You guys kinda look like those types... my father can help you two, do you want me to call him?"  
The silence in the table is the only answer she needs, when Lily looks scared as she holds the shoulder of her friend that was about to say something, Iara breathes in and for a second seems to reconsider everything but she settles for getting up and saying in a low voice pointing straight at Anastacia.

 "I was here for fun. Now I'm gonna destroy you." She pauses and points at Carol and Josh. "And your little fucking goons."

They both leave, Iara stomping her way to the gardens while Lily runs behind her. Anastacia finally leaves a breath she wasn't aware of holding, her heart started pounding in her chest when Iara was at her breaking point. It's probably happiness from facing competition... and winning it, she is taken out of her thoughts when Carol throws an empty juice box at Josh, who looks confused and says.

"Ow, what did I do?"

"Exactly, nothing, you were no help at all" Carol says before giving in the middle finger.

Iara and Lily are walking outside feeling the adrenaline die down after the confrontation. The latter feels as if she just got out of a fight and the former feels like getting in a fight.

"I can't believe that bitch I'm gonna send her to heaven right now." Iara lets out a groan of pure anger and annoyance as she kicks one garbage pretending that it is Anastacia. She walks four more steps and goes back to pick up the garbage because the janitors have nothing to do with Anastacia being a bitch... "Fuck her. God."

Lily helps to pick up the garbage, her mind drifts thinking about the situation they got themselves into, she hates confrontation, hates fighting and hates when strangers look at her, but she knows Iara, and knows that she is not someone who forgets and forgives easily, that confrontation was her being nice, Lily fears what's going to happen when she is not being nice. The brunette smiles, putting her hand on Iara's shoulder and saying.

"Don't worry babe, that was awesome! But let's calm down, we are gonna be invisible right?"  Iara relaxes a little but Lily can still see the anger in her eyes.

"We are. But we're gonna be invisibly fucking them." Lily doesn't really trust that, but she feels better that Iara is not trying to pick a public fight. Lily is about to answer when Iara keeps talking "And you did great out there, couldn't do it without you."

That makes Lily feel even worse, she is already doubting her friend, worried about what people may say if Anastacia decides to talk and what the Pastor will do if he thinks there's something between the two of them. And seeing Iara say that she was helpful when she didn't even say a word just makes her even more scared of the consequences of a fight against the Trio, but she would feel bad making Iara worry, so she just chuckles and says.

"I didn't do nothing, you were like a ninja fighting everything and like, everyone was so scared of you"  Iara can't help but laugh as Lily tries to act like a ninja fighting off invisible people. She does point out that Lily was a great emotional support and if it wasn't for her she would probably be expelled.

‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎After walking for five minutes they get to the same tree as yesterday,  happily sharing the brownies and talking about every single bad thing they can think about Anastacia, Carol and Josh. He  didn't do much but he was there, and being there is already enough. Iara is not really paying much attention, her insults are not as clever as they could be because she is mostly thinking about what she should do with Anastacia.

‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎"We should take them down. Like, they are popular for a reason right? We can just make them... not popular." The smile on Lily's face as she was coming up with a nickname more devastating than Assnastacia vanishes. She looks confused as Iara explains. "Nobody likes the popular kids, everybody dislikes them, fears them or is envious of them, which means if we take away the thing that makes them powerful we nobody's gonna stand by their side."

‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎"It's pretty weird hearing you refer to The Trio as "Popular Kids,"" Iara rolls her eyes eating a little more of the brownies she baked yesterday. "But you have a point, only popular people actually like popular people... but it's also impossible for us to find weakness in them, especially in Anastacia, she is like, perfect, and we have queer written on our faces, so we have a tad bit of a disadvantage."

‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎Iara almost lays down in the grass, Lily does have a point, it's already hard having tattoos when you're under eighteen and in a catholic school, they don't even need proof, if Anastacia says that Lily and Iara are together, it would be all over she would probably be sent to conversion therapy and Lily would get isolated. But if there's one thing that Iara learned from god, is that "pobody is nerfect" she actually learned from a show but God also teaches that... she assumes... Iara fixes her posture, sitting straight with a smile and full of determination which worries Lily.

‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎Iara begins. "Everybody has something they fear, be a hidden boyfriend, be a crush, be a secret. We just need to find out what Anastacia is hiding, because once she falls the other two popular kids are gonna fall. Alright, who knows all the gossip in the school?"

‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎Their whole lunch break is used in finding out useful information about Anastacia. They looked for her name in the Gossip at Saint Damian. Learned that she had a boyfriend for five months, they only kissed because they can only have sex after marriage, Iara scolds Lily for saying they couldn't slut shame her, they also learn that she was seen in a party in the beginning of the year. And that 's it. Iara is walking back to her classes with her hands covering her face as she says.

"There's no way nobody knows anything about that little Gengar bitch, she was seen at a party? That's the fucking news? Not seen drinking or hooking up? oh my god this school sucks." Lily laughs remembering that party. Her whole body freezes, making Iara bump into her. Lily turns to her friend with a radiant smile that takes over her whole face. Iara already knows, she remembered some good gossip, they sit down and she immediately begins to whisper like it's the biggest news she could have.

"At that party, she had just broken up with Adam. It was one of the last parties you went to, do you remember her?" Iara slowly shakes her head no, she doesn't remember anything of the last month that she was partying pretty much everyday, all the drinking and drug abuse were really catching up to her. "Whatever, you know, James told Lucy who told me he saw Anastacia buying weed from Little Man, he called him a shady scary guy but from the description it was Little Man"

Iara almost jumps with joy with the news, she knows little man, he lives down the street from her, he is called Little Man because he is 6'8 and likes to do knitting, cats and is selling drugs to pay for college. Iara hopes he can become a chef one day. But most importantly, if that actually happened he would tell them.

"That's awesome! I'm gonna talk to Little Man and then we can like, scare her or something, this is gonna be great." Iara and Lily do a high five, both radiating happiness and hope. Lily already forgot about trying to avoid trouble and Iara forgot about not trying to pick a fight.

Anastacia watches the two being so happy after getting treated at lunch break, she doesn't have good feelings about it, but she just sighs and decides to focus on her work, she has to keep her grades at the top. and it's not gonna be two nuisances like those that are gonna taker her focus out of harvard.

The school day passes without much trouble for Lily and Iara, they don't really talk to anybody and Lily actually prefers to be ignored than to be bullied. The former doesn't really study but she does sleep, while the latter takes a lot of notes, asks a lot of questions and actually learns a lot. After that, once again they get in Lily's car, but this time they go to a very different neighborhood.

Anastacia stays in school, she has two extracurricular activities, community service and cheerleading. Without having to search for the tattooed girl, her day goes way better, she feels lighter and happier while working and training. As the sun sets the training ends, everyone is tired and sweaty except for Carol, she is somehow always cold. The two girls wave their goodbyes after Anastacia drops Carol off, after waiting for her to get inside she finally goes to her house.

As soon as she gets close to the door her smile vanishes and she gets very focused on not making any noise. She closes her door very slowly, locking it behind her. Her house is so big it disgusts her. She walks to the living room taking off her shoes and holding them in her hands. As she walks to the stairs hitting her toe on one of the walls by mistake, she bites her bottom lip so she can hold the sounds of pain she was about to make, she just murmurs under her breath.

"Fucking hell..."

All of her movement is slow but quiet, years of practice made it so that she is able to hide most of her sounds, shifting her weight consciously so that she never has to actually put any more force on her feet than necessary, going up the stairs quietly is a little harder but she manages to do it without much effort.  

She finally gets to the second floor and sees at the end of the hall that her father is in his office, her hands shakes as she quickly opens her own door being extra careful to not make a single sound, she finally gets to her room immediately locking her door and falling to the floor letting out a big sigh, her room is all pink, different shades of pink, but still pink, pink walls, pink bed sheets, she has two door, one leads to her closet and the other to her bathroom. She has a bookshelf in the corner with her favorite books organized by the alphabet order of authors' first names, she has a bunch of pictures of her friends glued to her mirror, and her desk is filled with books and make-up. The only different part of her is her favorite, the mini fridge, that makes it so she doesn't really have to leave her room for anything. She gets up and lays in bed opening Instagram on her phone, going on her second account "Nikolaevna" and looking for Iara, Iara has a private account. After five minutes debating if she should follow her or not, she decides to just click the follow request and go take a shower. Convincing herself that the only reason she wants to see her Instagram is so she can get more information on the enemy.
