"You must be hungry," Jake said smiling. "I'll go get you something to eat. And Josh, I think I saw Leo eat your donuts."

"Wait! No! I didn't eat your donuts-" Leo said panicked.

"Get your butt back here!" Josh said, chasing Leo across the place.

Kai just stood in the corner watching.

 "They must be close," Leah thought to herself. 

"Lunch is ready! Kai cooked this time." Josh said laughing.

"Finally! He's the best cook." Leo shouted.

"What did you want, Leah?" Jacob told her.

"Whatever is f-fine with me."

"Better question, when's the last time she ate, she's as skinny as a board." Josh said while sitting in a bean bag with his food in his hands.

Leah went silent.

Kai looked concerned so he grabbed a plate full of food and gave it to Leah. "Eat."

She looked at him shocked, not knowing he could talk. Jake noticed.

"He can talk, he just doesn't much. I guess you can say he's shy, kinda like you."

"Quit your yapping and start munching, y'all's food is gonna be cold," Josh said sighing.
