Hiding in the Mist

Joe the engineer was quite a few first for me. First time drawing overalls, a lantern, wrinkles, and a train engineer hat. This episode was also the first time drawing characters holding each others hands. That, plus the need for a lot of backgrounds with mist, is why this episode took so long to make.
Speaking of mist, I took inspiration from the model era of Thomas & Friends. It's a good way to make things feel creepy that the characters were able to use to there advantage.

Timber Creek is an abandon ghost town. At least it was suppose to be. Siblings Matt and Jess came to the town to find a missing train, only to be locked up in the town's jailhouse. They need to escape the town before the vigilantes can gather to put the siblings 6 feet under. Their only help, is the town's old train engineer. Will they escape this ghost town, or will they die trying.
