The Hirata Family is one of the Families that held great Political Power in Helios Country aside from the King. The Hirata Family is from the Izuno Province, a wonderful floating huge land in the sky that were blessed by the sun alongside others in Helios. The Hiratas alongside some other Families, are one of the great fronts of the anti-'Hero vs Villains Conflict'. The Family reject country's reliance over Heroes and condemned the Villains for their crimes as they preached that the end of a conflict is not ensured by caped and armoured saviours who proclaimed peace by the defeating the henchmen of evil, but instead be done by the people themselves who shall strive for their own peace. The Family had a good motto overall, as they are one of the Families that cared more for the people around them as they were different than other aristocrats who tries to differ themselves from the people, but instead, they choose humility, even their residence doesn't look that different from the House of their people. Thus, making the people under them praised them with their hearts, blessing them with prayers as they helped the people in their lives like any people with power should've done. But..., the peace of the Family finally had its test, for the Family's Eldest Daughter, Hirata Yumeko, decides to become a Hero in the Hellios Capital, objecting her parents' warnings as she left home. She did become a Hero got an A-Rank even. With that, she starts her Heroic Agency that helps people in need from the Capital's poor caste. It was good overall, but one day, she disappeared. Her disappearance for months made the Hirata Family on panic as well the other Families of Izuno who backed them up, demanding Hellios Capital to do a great search over her. But for months, the Capital ignored that and even decide to send one of their S-Ranks to block the land of their sun, robbing them of their source of power. But thankfully, the Hiratas as well as the other Families and Clans of Izuno, already predicted if the day would come, as they already prepared a backup Power Source to make sure their land still stay on the skies like the others. Thus, despite these odds, the Hirata still demand for Yumeko's return, accepting any help they could get or offered as the offer for help did come one day. A Merchant, with Black robes and a mysterious appearance presents himself alongside a Hunter, who he claims could do the job for them with some proper amount of funds. " I will give you as many as you demand, the only thing I care is my daughter's return! " " Even if she no longer had her life, as her parent, I only want to see her once more! " The Hirata Patriarch says it as he accepted the Merchant's offer on deploying the Hunter to find her daughter. But as things happened. (Present time.) [ 11:22 a.m.] [Hirata Family Residence, Izuno Province] " My daughter... " The Hirata Family cries loudly as well as the people who were already in their Residence. " Lady Yumeko... " Vengeance Hunter says this, he sighed despite the rewards. " You've done well. " Black Merchant approached him, he says that as he comes to meet with the Hirata Patriarch. " The Patriarch summoned us. " Black Merchant tells him. " During the Burial Ceremony? " Vengeance Hunter asks as Black Merchant walks from his place. " He demands more story on how it happened. " " For the ceremony, he lets his wife, and the others deal with it as to him. " " Knowing the cause is more important. " Black Merchant looks at Vengeance Hunter as he grips his hands. " It's my fault, I- " " Save it, kid. " " I already told him on how she was abducted and how you saved her for some time. " " But the thing he wants to know more from you is... " " Raichi Kamui. " The Hirata Patriarch comes as he greets Black Merchant and Vengeance Hunter. " Vengeance Hunter... " He takes a deep breath. " I want to know more on how that bastard from the Raichi Clan killed My daughter. " (Minutes later.) [Hirata Patriarch's Chamber.] " Just like that? " The Hirata Patriarch asks after hearing it. " He ended My Daughter..., just like that? " He asks while getting pissed at the same time. " Like I said, it's My fault. " Vengeance Hunter tells him. " Kamui is aiming for me at the time, my guess is. " " The Heroes and Villains are aware about you now. " Black Merchant interrupts. " You killed a Disaster-Threat Villain as well as many A-Rank Heroes who happened to participate on fanning the flames of the conflict. " " The trigger is when you killed Bludgeon and Sharp Edge, since the two were the siblings of the two most powerful S-Rank Heroes. " " Buzzkill and... " " Hellion. " Black Merchant mentions the name, immediately made the Hirata Patriarch tremble. " Hellion, had a sibling? " The Patriarch cowers when hearing it as he looks at Vengeance Hunter. " I never thought you would go that far... " The Patriarch rethinks what his impression on the Vengeance Hunter. " Of course, he did... " Black Merchant tells him. " He's the embodiment of vengeance, harbouring the vengeance who were betrayed by this unhealthy conflict. " " Thus, as Vengeance Hunter emerges, I could only predict they had no choice but to send Kamui to test him which unfortunately, it happens when he was doing the job you given him with. " Black Merchant tells the Patriarch while the Patriarch glares over Vengeance Hunter. " I know, Patriarch... " " I know you need to release you anger now over your loss. " " But still. " " The person should be held responsible is that Raichi Kamui, not the one in front of you. " " He should be the one who pays for the death of your daughter, in seconds after Hunter here, saved her from her captive. " Black Merchant says to the Patriarch as he softens his glare slowly as he hears it. " I'm sorry if I had to speak about this, Patriarch... " Vengeance Hunter finally had his chance. " But the thing is, instead of attacking me, Kamui chose to attack your daughter, plunging her from above. " " Even after killing her, after knowing who she was... " " Kamui brushes it off as if it was nothing, as if her death were on his very mind from the start. " Vengeance Hunter tells while remembering what Kamui did when killing Yumeko. Hearing it, the Patriarch slaps his face, realizing things are more difficult than it seems. " If that Villanous Raichi Clan Bastard is involved then there's nothing left for me to doubt that the Heroes and Villains from the goddamn capital and from the Trashville are on the same side. " " Even before this thing happened, the Capital often send some Heroes here to negotiate or let some villains terrorized us. " " And now, the 'Raichi' Clan takes the scene... " " What should I do? " The Patriarch could only ask himself as he reflect on what happened. " Apologies for the intrusion, Patriarch. " Black Merchant tells him. " You want your money, I already prepared it, Merchant..., I- " " No, keep it for now. " Black Merchant says as he looks at the Patriarch firmly. " Since it has come to this, it would be wise for us to give you some compensation. " " Raichi Kamui, your daughter's killer. " Black Merchant says as he looks at the Vengeance Hunter. " Can you, do it? Can you avenge her, Vengeance Hunter? " Black Merchant asks as Vengeance Hunter's System gives him another Quest. <Message> <New Mission Unlocked> <Mission: [Story Quest: Revengeance of the Dead I (Defeat Kamui)]> <The Story Quest will be filled with many Sub-quests would you like to take it?> Vengeance Hunter looked at the Black Merchant seeing him with a silent stare as he sighs, reflecting on his defeat after having some progress over years of preparation. * Vengeance Hunter grips his hand. * " I accept. " Vengeance Hunter accepted it, accepting the Quest as the System records it. <Quest Accepted> " I assure you Hirata Patriarch. " " The Disaster-Threat Villain, Raichi Kamui will soon be hunted. " " I promise you that. " Vengeance Hunter replies to the Patriarch with his resolve, a sheer determination fuelled by vengeance over the loss of his mission and his first defeat after all those years.
