Well, if the cover is anything to go by, we're getting a handful of beast-wronged protagonists who go on a revenge spree and maybe discover some good beasts along the way the become an Avenger-type team. It seems as though these beasts are pretty choosy about who they turn to bones—that is if our protagonists didn't evade death by wit or skill (or sheer cowardice) as kids. I also wonder how beasts are made and if the member of the Red Circle who turned traitor became one. I doubt all the unsurmountable power wasn't able to preserve his life in one form or another. There's lots of lore to uncover and I can't wait to see how it unfolds.
