I have discovered a linguistic disaster. As I understand, Baytyrku do not have a word for greeting, they just say their name. A great observation, institute loved it too. But now all the locals are calling me "Whatchaneed", and so far I have not made any progress in changing this. Alexey Vitalievich Podvorotniy sounds for them as some kind of meaningless noise, clearly too long to be a name.
I hope I will introduce no more such incidents, or Kotomkin would have to deal with it after me. He's not the guy to write complaints, of course, oh, a stupid technical specialist messed up in a field he knows nothing about. We all know we gotta get our points somehow. But he'll be whining about it for the rest of my life.
