The wind is on the rise, the grass goes in waves alongside. I was told the storm is coming. I got up to check the cage on the roof out of habit: going to the city for a recharge takes too long, much better to just do things right on the spot. So I fiddle with the transformers, whistle the melody from the "gentlemen", job's going well, clouds are still a while away.
Then I hear a commotion of incredible power right on my side, I almost fell. The gremlins are staying there, screaming, literally shaking from rage. My first thought is that I managed to offend them somehow. As soon as I'm down they calm down a bit, keep chattering, explaining something to me. Probably telling me it's a bad idea to stay on the hill. Wish they saw what happens here during the storm, but they decided not to wait for the culmination and rode into the steppes.
