Day eighty-three. I was checking all the places that the land management guy told me about, indeed, gorgeous monuments. Ornamented slabs are located around the central menhirs. On the menhirs themselves they hang bronze or copper masks, three on each, all green from rust. Hardware detects all of them are more than a thousand years old now.
On the last stop I noticed one of the gremlins, from the other tribe if her clothes are to be believed. No teeth sticking out of the mouth, but they are painted on the face instead. Maybe some branch? Didn't pay any attention to my signs of peace and trade, and just went down the hill to her riding goat. At least she didn't chase me away, although she did watch me until I got out of there.
Institute was generous on the points, still have two more months here.
