In the vastness of space, the humpback continues its voyage. At first, it's business as usual for the crew. That is until the sonars pick up a signal. A fleet of ship belonging to a band of mercenaries intercepts the humpback and sends starfighters towards the ship. Alarms go off and the pilots are ordered to intercept the enemy starfighters. Per Captains orders, the crew bunkers down in their rooms until further instructions. As they exit the humpback, the starfighters enter combat with the mercenaries forces. The starfighters gun down each mercenary ship, one by one. Just when it seems like all the ships were destroyed, six mercenaries zoom past the starfighters and enter the humpback. The mercenaries exit their starfighters and start making demands.

"Alright shitheads! We know you have something of value in this metal whale! So hand it over or this ship will be many pounds lighter!" Shouted one of the mercenaries.

The crew members who where unable to bunker down tried to hide from the mercenaries. Getting no response, the mercenaries start firing wildly in the ship. Three of the mercenaries make their way towards the bridge. Jack sees as the crew members try to hide from the blaster fire. Just then, one of the crew members tries to escape but is shot by the mercenaries. Memories start coursing through Jacks mind, memories of a past he doesn't recall. Jack pulls out the gun in his holster and blows one of the mercenaries head clean off. Seeing one of there own dead on the floor, the other mercenaries open fire on Jack. Jack dodges each shot that is fired with cold precision before blowing a hole in one mercenary and snapping the neck of the other. Knowing where the other mercenaries are, Jack makes his way towards the bridge.

In the bridge, the remaining mercenaries hold the crew and Captain Farron hostage. One of the mercenaries approaches Farron at gun point. The mercenary starts making demands.

"Alright lizard brain. We know you have something of value in this ship. So hand it over republic scum." Says the mercenary in a threatening tone.

"If you think I'll hand over the tech, then you are a mere fool. That tech is republic property now and like hell I'll low life scum like you get your hands on it." Farron says maintaining his stern demeanor.

Just then, Jack busts open the door to the bridge and guns down two of the mercenaries with pin point precision. The last mercenary, seeing their dead compatriots, decides to run back into the starfighter and exit the ship. Jack pursuits the final mercenary and enters the eagle. The mercenary desperately tries to escape to no avail. With one shot, Jack shoots down the final mercenary with cold precision. With the mercenaries gone, Jack returns to the humpback to tend to the crew.

Back on the humpback, Xel and the medical team tend to the injured crew members including the one that was shot by the mercenaries. Sierra and the mechanical crew work on repairing the damaged parts of the humpback. Pilots try to lend a helping hand wherever they can. Jack lands on the docking bay with no recollection of what had happened. Jack sees the effort being made by the crew and goes to lend a helping hand. On the observation deck, Farron watches on as the crew work tirelessly. He thinks back to the cold expression on Jack face as he disposed of the mercenaries and recalls a small not on Jacks file.

"So that's how you got that nickname huh? Who would've guess that you'd have such a vile reputation, Jack the ripper." Captain Farron thinks to himself while paying close attention to Jack.
