So I've be considering redoing Cyberbeasts. At this point, Monterra has become what I wanted Cyberbeasts to be that if I were to bring back Cyberbeasts I'd have to change the story. Luckily, I have a story in mind for the new Cyberbeasts. So expect that at some point.
So Monterra page might be delayed for a while. Combination of throwing my back last week and current events have left me depressed. Pages might return when I’m in a better state of mind.
So bad news, Monterra may be delayed until early February(best case scenario) due some technical issues in the form of getting a new ipad and my old equipment is not compatible. I have a new pen now. I just need a storage drive in case something happens so the pages are not lost. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Fun fact: When think of a story to exist alongside Monterra, I wanted it to be different yet familiar to Monterra. I knew it had to be sci-fi for obvious reasons, but I also wanted it to be mecha. Problem, most mecha stories are either discount gundam or a mazinger-esque story neither of which I wanted to do. I wanted my mecha story to stand out and be unique. So I looked outside of mecha for influence. I asked “ what makes mecha mecha” and from there I started thinking of a story that would become Cobalus.

Fun fact: The initial idea for Monterra was inspired by card games and Digimon. While the Digimon influence is there(Digimon lives in my head rent free), the card game influence isn’t as obvious.
Now would be a good time to mention that I hope to upload a new chapter of Cobalus every two weeks. This should give me enough breathing room between chapters.
Just a heads up I'll be off for the holidays but the start of next year will feature more posts. I hope upload not just stories but also images of my work too. Also I really need to update my user profile so expect that at some point.
Status update: Cyberbeast: Evolution will be going on hiatus once page 20 is fully done. Need to take a break from this story for a while. In the meantime, Dragon riders will continue and I might start a new story as well.
