Today, we catch back up with Bonnie who's in a peaceful scene, simply going out for tea. Of course, as the final panel implies, there's more to it than just tea, but for the majority of the page, she and this barista are just engaging in small talk.
The barista is not named here, but it's not exactly intended as a spoiler. So to make discussion about the page a little easier, her name is Esther and she's a kitsune (which I think makes her only the second kitsune to appear in the story so far, after Keegan). I hope you like her! ^_^
(Also, the name of the tea shop - per the writing on the window - is "Tea Riffic.")
Tea Riffic? Really?
That raises so many questions about the language in that world. That's an English pun, so the fact that it also exists there implies the language they're using is a derivative or parallel evolution of English. Could be caused by classic parallel reality logic, the different worlds develop the same things in slightly different ways, but it also implies they're currently in the alternate world's version of America
Follows the strange story of Chiaki, a daydreaming otaku who longs to confess her feelings to her childhood friend, Fumiko, and how that's made especially difficult when she gets transported to another world...
