Their relentless questioning led Zephyr, in his dragon form, to unleash a swift smack with his tail, silencing their inquiries and leaving their egos bruised.

Lost in his own thoughts, Zephyr’s gaze trailed to Mira's graceful form ahead, her beautiful crystal clear wings fluttering like delicate petals in the wind.

As he pondered the possibility of her rejection of him, a wave of uncertainty washed over him.

Finally reaching Cirreck, they were greeted by Prince Cedric, Queen Aine, and Princess Scylla.

Mira smiled as she greeted them, causing Cedric to smile back as he recounted his time to her that he spent with the queen and little princess.

After bidding farewell to their hosts, they prepared to depart once more. Once the magical cloud for Cedric to ride in alongside Mira was crafted, they embarked on their journey back to the Avalorian Kingdom.

Queen Aine's gaze shifted and lingered on Zephyr, sensing the turmoil within him as he watched his fated mate's silhouette shrink in the distance.

With a gentle smile, she encouraged him to follow his heart, assuring him that true love was worth any sacrifice, as she knew he would stay only out of duty otherwise.
