“So, who is he?” I asked Kayda, both of us sitting on the rooftop balcony enjoying the night view of the andromeda galaxy in the sky.

“Who?” she asked

“This Izar guy” I said as she took her gaze from the sky and dramatically turned her head to look at me, her already big eyes even bigger

“What? Don’t look at me like that” I protested

“ha-ha, just kidding” she giggled

“His family was our business partner, but Kai and Izar quickly became friends. He is from the eastern country, FAIREWIND. He used to come here every time he had a vacation and when he was old enough his parents made him manage their company headquarters here in Celestia.”

“So, he can participate in the ritual, even if he isn’t part of the family?” I asked

“Yes, there are exceptions,like your brother’s fiancé, the Magic Council members, they all can participate without direct blood relation” she explained “and Izar and Kai both are practically my brothers, he has been coming here as long as I can remember.”

I looked up the stars scattered all around a sparkly hazy white band with a bit of light reddish hues in the middle arching the night sky, a part of Andromeda, the galaxy we live in.

“He is a good guy” Kayda’s sudden revelation startled me

“Who, Izar?” I asked

“Yeah. Sure, he is a bit annoying and snarky and maybe a bit rude, but he is honest.” She said “but wanna hear the funny part?”

She paused before continuing “He has never fallen in love or have been interested in any women. Kai even used to tease him thinking he likes men.”

She looked at me, her eyes gleaming 

“I will give you a heads up” she said as she eagerly sat straight in her recliner. “He seems interested in you”

“What if I am not” I countered

“hmmmm… well I trust my brother enough to say that you will indeed be” she snickered

“We will see about that” I snickered back as she laid back on her seat

 “Have you ever attended this ritual before?” I asked her

“Nope” “Not me, or my mother have attended this. Grandma was guided or something to do this ritual saying that celestial dragon wishes to see us all.”

Celestial dragon.

“Isn’t it the most powerful dragon soul to ever exist.” I stated

“Yes” she replied

“It was the dragon that came to our world and divided its power amongst the 7 kings” she explained

“Is it just the celestial dragon’s soul that you keep hidden here? I have heard it’s the only one attached to another soul” I asked

“Yes. The dark soul” she said “it existed together until the last wielder, Princess Kayda.”

“That’s not connecting the dots” I said

“Why?” she asked “considering how the history describes her as the most cruellest, she would have become the leader of the creatures rather than giving the dark soul to them since she already was the most powerful... is that why?” she asked

“Yes” I replied amused, at how she described what I exactly thought

“Well, you could be right, but maybe she hated both Humans and Malachite shaders.” She explained “no one knows the past apart from the ones who lived in it.”

“But I know one thing that you probably didn’t know” she paused “and it might freak you out” she warned

“What is it?” I asked

“The leader of the Malachite shaders, already has all the other 7 souls, including the dark soul, the only one left is its other half, celestial soul.” she explained

“WHAT!!!” the shock came out loud before I could control my voice

“sshush shsh” she panicked “you are gonna get us is trouble”

I quickly covered my mouth.

“What do you mean?” I asked anxiety running through my blood.

If they have all those souls it means, they are already really powerful.

“Yes. The souls of dragons of air, water, earth, fire, reality, strength and dark are all supposedly in their hand.The public only knows about the dark soul and the drama relating to celestia's royal family.” She explained

“Then why haven’t they attacked us yet to take the remaining one?”

“The souls need to be corrupted before they can absorb it” she explained “the celestial soul however isn’t corrupted yet as it exists in its free state. But once a humans soul gets mixed with it, it is at a greater vulnerability of getting corrupted. Malachite shaders can't touch the celestial soul in its free state, or else they will be disintegrated... that's how powerful the soul is”

“It’s still a question as to who divided the celestial soul from the dark soul, since it threatens the life of the human wielder so, it wouldn’t be the princess who tried to do that. But whoever it is, is the reason for the existence of this world” She continued

“It might have been her father; he was the most praised king of history. If he could kill his wife when her soul was corrupted, I think he wouldn’t mind putting his daughter’s life on the line for the greater good. Maybe that’s why she killed him, because of what he did to her mother and herself.” I explained

“It does makes sense” she said

“Kids its way past your bedtime,” I turned to see dan standing at the door.

“You have the ritual tomorrow, go to bed” he insisted

“Goodnight Kayda” I said

“Goodnight Ayami” she smiled
