In the reaches of space, the humpack continues its journey to Earth. All is quiet for the first time in a while. The crew take solace in the silence after all they've been through. On the bridge, Captain Farron watches the crew with ease in his eyes and calm feeling in his heart. Just then, Farron is informed of multiple blips on the ships radar. Farron sees the blips and knows these are not mercenary nor bounty hunter ships. These blips were much bigger, a sign they belonged to a fleet of ship. Farron orders the crew to pull up a visual of the ships. The screen revealed a sea of blood red ships with the skull of a creature on the side of them. Farron immediately knew what these ships are, the most infamous space pirates in the galaxy, the Crimson storm.

As the pirate fleet approaches, Captain Farron orders the crew to enter defensive positions. The crew readies the gun turrets and prepares to fire on the pirates. The turrets fire and hit each ship but shoots merely bounce off the pirate ships. That's when the pirates respond by destroying each of the turrets on the humpback. With the turrets destroyed, the Crimson storms flagship, the leviathan, approaches the humpback. The crew witness the sheer scale of the leviathan as it gets closer and closer to the humpback. Knowing the pirates are about to board the ship, Farron orders for the crew to bunker down as per protocol. The pirates board the humpback and proceed to hold the crew hostage.

"Listen up republic shills! Don't move and nobody gets shot! So get your asses on the ground with your hands visible!" Says pirate grunt Biggs.

With the threat known, the crew followed Biggs commands and got as close to the ground as possible. The pirates began to loot anything on the ship that appears to have value of sorts. Among the hostages, Jack was amongst them. Jack tried to keep a close eye on the pirate grunts in hopes of a potential opening. Jack notices how the pirates appear to be search for something, what exactly they were searching for Jack does not know. Before he assume what the pirates were looking for, Jack eyes immediately turns towards a sight nobody wanted to see. The aquarian captain of the Crimson storm, Queen Scarlet the dread.

"Captain! We found something!" Said pirate grunt Wedge, having found the ancient technology.

"My, my. Now this is quite the find. Mateys! We have what we need! We are leaving! This tech will fetch a fine price to any sucker willing to pay the credits for it." Queen Scarlet says with a commanding presence.

Elsewhere, Sierra watches as the pirates begin to leave with multiple hostages and the ancient tech. She stands hidden as Sierra sneaks past the pirates and opens a hatch. Sierra enters and makes her way towards the storage room. She approaches a mountain of cloth and pulls the cloth rag revealing her secret project, a modified G0-R0 mech. This particular mech is unpainted, has a enclosed canopy, and has a stronger armor than its normal counterpart. Sierra enters the mech and starts the engine. Her goal is clear, to save the hostages and get the ancient technology back.
