Brillant three-part story of Cat's Last Angel--the narrative arc works well, introducing the train, characters, and suspense at the end of the first episode...great work in the fighting scene with the robot type creature, but the story doesn't end there as they have to let go of the last car, move through desert and into the forest where the train stops and our heroine decides to transition from protector of the train to a new adventure yet to come, and she looks toward her friends and us the reader, inviting us to travel with her...striking change in imagery from color to black and white and back to color as the train moves into and out of the dark forest...there are an amazing number of details in the story that make it worth reading...the individual characters are very unique/creative, some reference other video games/shows which adds a note of familiarity to the overall comic, the art style shows you spent A LOT of time drawing/perfecting the images/frames/transitions...so much more to say, but for would be readers, i'd say READ IT, you'll love it!
