A fun fact about the character "Nozomi": her name was originally "Aurora". However, when I was writing the script for the second episode, I stumbled upon the subtext of "Hope" and "Desire". So, I decided to research names that meant "Hope" in Japanese - as any good fan of Japanese culture would do, right? - and I came across "望み" (Nozomi) which means "Hope". To finish (and this information is not in the story), her last name is "Hikari" (ひかり) which means "Light". But I bet most of you already knew these meanings, right?
