My Main Got Nerfed

Cliff Starfall, my client, complains that his character got nerfed in a game and it's affecting his everyday life. Nerfed... as in the gun? (Upon further research, it means 'made weaker') I'm not really into games though... does it really affect people that much? I feel there is something more to uncover. If we can do that, Cliff can start a path to true healing.
