The sky had cleared up significantly, displaying a vibrant blue hue. The once swirling and dark clouds had dissipated, and the wind, though still strong, was no longer as violent. Rain sprinkled lightly from above, almost as if it were dancing through the sky. Asukem dashed across the beach, eager to return to the village. Suddenly, he noticed Gimp soaring through the air, hurling fireballs as if engaged in a fierce battle. It was then that he spotted the snake men emerging from the ocean one by one. Without hesitation, Asukem charged into the chaos. To his left, Leo was swiftly dispatching the snake men, while to his right, Kittienia and Kwitwaka were pummeling them relentlessly.
Directly ahead, he saw Grant and called out, "Grant! Cover me until I reach the siren girl!" Grant swiftly dispatched a snake man and turned to Asukem. Asukem raced past him, and Grant quickly caught up, running alongside him. With a mix of confusion and shock at seeing Asukem in human form, Grant inquired, "Asukem?" Asukem nodded and quickly explained, "Yes, it's me. The potion has cured my curse!" Grant nodded, his eyes gleaming with determination as he declared, "No one will stand in your way!" It was the first time Grant had intentionally unleashed his beast-slaying abilities.
Three to four snake men fall with silver crosses on their chests and Grant appears behind them. It seemed Grant used an ability to halt the snake men from harming Asukem. Grant continued to hack and slash a path for Asukem until they got to the building the siren girl was in. As they entered the building he saw the girl was still on the table but she was losing color, showing time was almost over for her. Asukem carefully lifted her up and lifted her head, so she could drink the potion. Asukem bit the cork popped it off and spit out the cork to the floor and slowly poured the potion down her throat. Some of the potions ran down her cheeks, but it seemed to go within her skin. Asukem rubbed her throat to help her swallow the potion.
As she suddenly awoke from her slumber with a choking cough, she took a deep breath and began to breathe heavily. With a raspy voice, she exclaimed, "Great ocean waves! That tastes like dead fish!" Asukem smiled in relief as he watched her come back to life. Slowly, Asukem began to transform back into his Sin Kin form. She sat up on her own and observed Asukem's gradual transformation back into a Sin Kin. Gasping in horror, she declared, "Great Blue, you're cursed!" Asukem smiled warmly and replied, "Yep, and I would do it again."
Confusion clouded her expression as Grant detailed the situation to her. He mentioned that she had been unconscious and without water for an extended period, as per the villagers' accounts, and that Asukem had sacrificed his humanity to rescue her. Speechless, she stammered in disbelief, "But... but we're strangers." Asukem, his face stern, questioned, "Does that really matter? You needed assistance." Tears welled up in her eyes as the realization of Asukem's heroic act sank in, and she struggled to express her gratitude, "Thank you, I'm unsure how to repay your kindness. I am Aquatina Trident, the princess of the sirens of Osilha, the magnificent underwater city."
Asukem transformed back into a full sinkin as he introduced himself, "Greetings, Lady Aquatina. I am Asukem Seikage." He respectfully bowed. Grant then chimed in, "I am Grant Warebane, pleased to make your acquaintance." With a smile, he aimed to convey his respect, though he was aware of the ongoing battle outside. Asukem proceeded, "We are embarking on a mission to defeat a witch and reclaim my humanity." Aquatina gazed at them both in astonishment and inquired, "Just the two of you?" Grant chuckled, casting a glance at the door, "Oh no, we have others with us, but they are occupied at the moment." Asukem's expression turned serious as he abruptly stood up and exclaimed in realization, "Oh Right, we are under attack!"
Asukem and Grant rushed outdoors to assist Gimp, Leo, Kittienia, and her panther, Kwitwaka in the fight against the snake men coming from the sea. Amid the battle, Asukem and Grant sliced and chopped their way through the swarm of snake men, noticing that their companions were nearing exhaustion. Gimp struggled to remain airborne, Leo had difficulty lifting his heavy axe, while Kittienia and Kwitwaka were panting heavily.
Suddenly Asukem's friends were surrounded by water. Every wound, every cut, every bruse that they got in battle healed completely. On top of that, they found newfound energy. A surge of determination formed, it was like they were never tired. Aquatina walks out as water surrounds her hands as if she were casting a spell, saying, "You saved my life, now it's my turn to help you and your friends." the rain surrounds her encircling her, as it follows her orders.
Leo let out a furious roar, shouting, "I will crush all of you!" as he fought with vigor and strength. Kittienia exchanged a glance with Aquatina, giving a nod and a smile, while her panther Kwitwaka also locked eyes with Aquatina and let out a fierce roar, joining the battle. Meanwhile, Gimp sat perched on Aquatina's shoulder, remarking, "Wow, you're a powerful water witch!" Aquatina shot a glare at Gimp and playfully drenched him with water, though it was just plain water. Asukem burst into laughter at the scene. Gimp flashed a mischievous grin and joked, "If you wanted me wet, you could have just asked." Asukem chuckled and added, "Looks like Gimp has taken a liking to you."
Arrows suddenly flew past Asukem's face and headed straight towards Aquatina. Gimp quickly erected a barrier to block the arrows, watching them bounce off harmlessly. Asukem turned to see where the arrows came from, only to find more snake men emerging from the sea, led by a commander - Hisicla, the commander of both armies, this one and Evealeana's. Hisicla, with his human-like body and snake-like head, approached slowly. In a hissing voice, he remarked, "Encountering a princess and traitors, what luck!" Gimp exclaimed, "Hisicla!" Asukem, recognizing the commander from Gimp's reaction, asked, "Where is the bitch at?" Hisicla's snake eyes narrowed in anger, "Do not insult the mistress, traitor!"
Asukem, an 18-year-old orphan from Rikros, is transformed into a sinkin by an evil demon who wields power to torment souls with her lust. Ah'keim, a powerful being with a mysterious ulterior motive, mentors him as he struggles to regain his humanity and undo the damage caused by the female demon. With the help of new friends who try to help him escape his fate as a sinkin, Asukem sets out to fight the void and gain control over his powers, all while seeking redemption for his past sins.
