With the threat of the Crimson storm gone, the humpback continues its journey to Earth. Jack and Sierra exit out of the eagle and back on solid ground. The two of them couldn't believe they actually managed to go toe to toe with the Crimson storm, a feat neither the republic nor the federation could claim to have done. Sierra still couldn't believe she actually put up a fight against the Crimson storms own captain. As they leave the docking bay, Jack starts asking questions about that mech Sierra made.

"Not gonna lie. Wasn't expecting you to show up in a mech like that. How did you managed to get a mech like that?" Asks Jack, referring to the modified goro.

"That goro mech? I made that thing myself. It was all a matter of adding a canopy and strengthening the armor. It wasn't finished though. We'll just consider that a test run. Now I just need to give it a name. I was thinking-" Sierra said before being interrupted

Before Sierra could finish, Xel storms towards Jack and punches him square in the face. In Xel mind, Jack is a bad omen dooming the crew to misfortune. Enraged, Jack punches Xel back as the crew watch with shock on their faces. The human and the sauren fought tirelessly, trading blow after blow. Before Jack could land another hit, Sierra grabbed Jack from behind in hopes of stopping the fight. A crew member grabs Xel from behind also trying to stop the fight. Despite being held back, Jack and Xel still try to attack each other.

"What the hell is your problem you prehistoric bastard?!" Jack say with rage in his eyes.

"My problem?! I'll tell you what my problem is! You think you waltz in here and like some bullshit hero! Everyone in this damn is so willing to trust others and you wanna know every time we do?! People end up dead! We have our trust exploited when we should be leaving scum like you to rot in the vacuum of space!" Xel says angrily.

"Stop it! Both of you! You're acting like children! Xel get your ass back to the med-bay! Jack, with me now!" Sierra says, fed up with Jack and Xels constant fighting.

Xel returns to the med-bay to tend to the injured while Jack is dragged away by Sierra. Jack tries to explain thing to Sierra but Sierra is having none of it. Sierra looks at Jack square in the eye despite it being considered a threat amongst aquarians and chews him out for constantly getting into fights with Xel.

"It's not my fault they have it out for me. What the hell did I do to warrant the wrath of a space dinosaur?" Say Jack, frustrated by the hole ordeal.

"It's not what you did, it's what other before you did. Lets just say there were some "incidents" before you arrived. We lost a lot of good people back then. Didn't help we were running with new recruits instead of experienced pilots to protect us. Xel had lost some close friends, so you can see why they are so distrustful of any newcomers." Says Sierra.

"Doesn't justify decking me in the face. At this point, they should know I'm not like those crooks. Anyway, I need speak to the captain about this tech we're carrying." Jack says, before giving the tech to Sierra.

"Alright. See you then. By the way, stay clear from Xel from now on." Sierra says before leaving to put the tech in a secured area.

In the captains quarters, Farron sees Jack enter his office. Farron is surprised by and asks for the reason Jack enter his office. Jack tells Farron that he want to know what the ancient technology is and why they are taking it to Earth.

"I see. Take a seat Mr. Rider. You are in for a long explanation." Says Farron.

"Alright. So, what's so important about this tech we are carrying? Is it some sort of weapon or historical artifact or something?" Jack asks with a mixture of concern and confusion.

"I assume you know of the history of both the republic and the federation. The two galactic nations have been in conflict for sometime now. But neither the republic nor the federation have been able to shift the conflict either favor." Says Farron

"So you're telling we are in the middle of some cold war?" Asks Jack.

"Correct. But that is the ancient technology comes in. The current theory is that it contains enough power to shift the tides of the conflict. That is why we must deliver it to the republic so we can finally put an end to this conflict." Farron says

"I see. So what exactly does this thing do anyway?" Jack asks out of curiosity.

"I'm afraid that is classified information." Farron says, disappointing Jack.

Knowing what the techs purpose is, Jack leaves the captains quarters to help the crew repair the damage from the pirate attack.
