The sun rose for the new day. Lilian got out of bed, showered, then headed straight to the garden, before anyone else woke up.
She wore her work and gardening garb, and went into the garden connected to the café. She tended to the garden. Inside the garden, you could hear how busy at work she was with the rustling of the leaves and the snipping of her garden shears echoing in the spacious, lush, bountiful garden. She took meticulous care of the roses. She was pruning the parts she had to and removing shriveled up leaves and checking for insects. Then, she watered all of the rose bushes.
She checked in on the café, and everyone had also started working before the café's opening. The café was gorgeous and clean, and the tables and chairs were already set up. Yet again, Roxanne was planning more for their daily vlogs for the free traffic on social media to get more eyes on their products, especially international ones. She had just finished checking for orders made last night. Caroline can be seen sweeping the café and cleaning the windows.
Lilian entered the kitchen and saw that Clarissa was helping Angelica bake the cookies, pies, and cakes for the orders of the day and for the customers of the café. Brooklyn had just finished auditing and went to help out with the baking. The fresh batch of rose tea she had brewed for the day is wafting through the store, cooling off for storage.
Once they were with all the baking part of the baked goods for today's orders. Caroline went into the kitchen and swiftly washed all of the equipment. Roxanne went to her counter for the shop upstairs as the cashier, with her laptop, and made thumbnails for the videos. Angelica, Clarissa, and Brooklyn, were still busy with other foods for the day.
Once Lilian checked in on all of them working, she went back to her garden. She looked at the plenty of orders on the ledger. She was thrilled that her hard work had paid off. She picked up the orders for today that she had packaged the night before, and put them in her car. These were rose candles, rose soaps, rose shampoo bars, rose tea bags, and rose essential oils.
She came back to the rose bushes, She snipped off the full blooms, and pruned the ugly and shriveled roses. Then, she went to her workshop with all of her harvested roses. The workshop was spotless, and most likely so were all the other places. She plucked off the petals of the harvested flowers, and dried them in the sun. She watered the several rose bushes. She plucked off the rosehips. Then she prepared her bouquets.
