Sour Demon Fruit!

Sour Demon Fruit! was the first comic drawn with the aid of a stand for my drawing tablet. It really shows, doesn't it?
Here, we have a silly little story inspired by the recent lemon meme running around. Featuring Melody and Alex Valain from Becoming a Dream, we see Alex confidently trying to lick a lemon, thinking her magical superhuman "anime girl" powers will help her...
They do - at least to take revenge on the offending fruit. Between magical ice powers and an ability to manifest blunt objects out of nowhere, that lemon doesn't know what hit it! And all Melody can do is watch.
I'm very fond of this one, proud of all the fun faces and generally silly story this turned out to be! However, if you're having difficulty reading - I admit, the text is a bit thin and small - you may want to find this on my related DeviantArt profile (pixiv has an older version with different fonts).

Welcome to the world of Behind the Veil! This world is much like ours, but all sorts of magical forces and beings exist in the background. Merfolk, dryads, magical fox people, and so many more exist, helping the world in the background. All of which tend to accept the LGBTQ+ community and guide those in need that come into their fold.
While all of my original stories (comics and novels alike) exist within this world, some are separate one-one page or short comics in this grand world. This is the place for these little moments, such as "Sour Demon Fruit!" and "Kit's Doodle."

This will update infrequently and irregularly, as new one-shots for my wider Behind the Veil series are created.
