If someone would have told him that this is the life that he would be dealing with right now, Cory would have probably laughed in their faces. Waitressing isn’t something that he is not used to, he has done many jobs like it, but there is a big difference right now that is making him want to just run away. It’s the outfit that he is wearing that leaves absolutely NOTHING to the imagination. He has no idea how people can wear this clothes, very conscious of the fact that he’s not wearing any underwear either.
The sheer piece of fabric is thick enough that way nobody would see the outline of his dick so easily, but he still thought one wrong move would show them every part of him. Even bending over is a no-go right now because EVERYTHING would be out on display, and he isn’t so sure he could handle that.
He sees how people are looking at him, like they are going to end up gobbling him right up the minute that they get the chance to. It’s scaring him a little bit because he knows that he would not be able to defend himself and win but it’s pretty clear to him that he is protected in a way.
Nobody has tried to touch him surprisingly.
It makes him wonder what is going on for it to turn out this way.
Maybe he will need to figure this all out by the end of it.
“Would you like a drink, ma’am?” Cory asks one of the elite women sweetly, noticing how she looks him up and down.
The sight is enough to make him feel pretty damn nervous but he’s not going to worry about it. She takes a glass off of his tray, winking at him slightly before she lifts her hand. He’s not so sure what she is going to do until he notices that she is holding out a business card.
Does she want him to take it?
How odd.
“I’m the lead photographer for a very exclusive modeling company.” She suddenly explains to him, making him wonder why in the world she would ever be interested in him, “and you, beautiful, are just what I’m looking for. Come in for a demo shoot to see how you do. I can promise that you will be making a lot of money by doing so.”
Cory doesn’t know what to think, looking at her like she is crazy because it doesn’t make much sense to her at all. It’s kind of worrisome because he is doing this job basically against his will so there’s no way he would be able to do another one.
At least not until his brother is back with him.
It might sound terrible, but this is the best thing for him to do right now to protect himself and maybe he might be able to do the job as well to make more money. It’s what Judas would tell him to do because it would be able to be a promising career.
Can he trust her?
“Take it, sweetie, you don’t have to commit to anything until you are certain.” She promises him, slipping her card onto his tray, “just think about it.”
Cory scurries off before she is able to do anything to his heart right now. He knows that he is unable to trust anyone because it would be dangerous to do so. It would end up screwing so much up and then he would fall even more into someone’s trap.
He would hope it wouldn’t be the case but he’s not so sure who he can trust anymore.
Who will end up being on HIS side.
It’s not such an easy game where it could really end up destroying what he is trying to do. He just wants to live a simple and easy life and it’s not going to happen if he doesn’t fight for it.
He would love to meet the owner of the Underground, the one that has his brother. He’s not sure what he will say and do but he does know that he is going to do everything in his power to protect Judas. He needs to find Judas before it is much too late. His biggest concern is that they are going to go back on their word and Cory will never see Judas again.
Just that very thought is enough to make him want to cry. He would prefer to give it all up, but he already knows that it would just end up being a lot worse for him. He knows that without him, Judas is going to continue to be in so much danger and he is afraid that nothing else will go right by it.
Maybe this is how it has to be.
For now, at least.
“Wow, look at this pretty boy.” One of the drunk patrons is slurring his words, practically swaying on his feet as he is getting close to Cory, “I think you are the most beautiful one they have hired so far. Why don’t you spend the night with me, and we can have fun on our own?”
Cory’s skin crawls at the bastard’s words and he doesn’t like the sound of it at all, “no thanks, I’m not interested. Would you like a drink?”
Cory thought that the man wouldn’t touch him because they are also not allowed to without his consent. It makes him feel weird to really see someone getting in his personal space and not even trying to hold back either. He’s just trying to do everything that he can to get close to Cory no matter what.
And Cory doesn’t like it.
“If you don’t want a drink, then I’m going to be on my way.” Cory murmurs in a cool tone, just trying to keep everyone at a distance, “thank y…”
Cory freezes as if on instinct as the man reaches out, squeezing his ass through the fabric almost extremely painfully. He’s not sure how it happened but something inside of him snapped in that moment and the next thing he knows, he is dropping the tray and punching the man right in the nose.
Blood spurts everywhere as the man cries out in pain, stumbling back as if he had just been taken by surprise. It’s obvious now that his nose is broken and as the man looks up, the fury and hatred in his eyes if pretty evident. It should scare Cory, but he can’t bring himself to care so much.
“I told you to stop touching me.” Cory growls, hoping he could scare the much bigger man off, “maybe next time, learn to accept consent and not force yourself on someone.”
It looks like the man is going to go after Cory if given the chance but thankfully, security is already there. They drag off the bleeding man much to Cory’s surprise because he honestly thought that he was going to get ripped a new one right in front of everyone.
He thought he was in the clear much too soon.
“Sin!” Someone is yelling, capturing many people’s attention because of how loud he is being, “just what the hell were you doing?”
Cory looks over and he notices the manager storming towards him with a pissed off look on his face. He goes by Vex and he is a bit of a hard ass, liking things done a certain way. Cory only met him for a moment, but it is obvious who he works for here and how he is going to do everything to make sure that everyone stays in line.
Vex is one of those burly men that nobody is going to dare to mess with, that much is pretty obvious. Being tall and muscular, he is an imposing figure, and nobody is going to dare mess with anything. Covered head to toe in tattoos as well, he covers them mainly with the suit that he wears to make sure that everyone sees him as a professional rather than some kind of thug. At least that is how Cory saw him when he first laid eyes on the burly man. With his curly blonde hair and cold green eyes, everyone would be afraid of him.
Even Cory is afraid of him although he would never admit it.
“He touched me.” Cory defends himself, glaring up at Vex who is looking down at him with barely controlled hatred, “and I don’t care if this is what I’m having to do, I didn’t sign up to be touched.”
Vex’s nostrils flare as he folds his arms across his chest, “I don’t know what you’re thinking but you don’t punch patrons. If they want to touch you, then they are going to touch you. Do you have a problem with that.”
“The next person who touches me without my consent will end up with more than JUST a broken nose.” Cory promises him, not going to hold back now because why in the world should he have to deal with that, “I can promise you that.”
Something tells Cory that he is going to be dealing with a lot more, but he isn’t going to allow it to hold him back. He might be a little afraid but there’s much more to it than he is ever going to tell himself and he doesn’t care what he has to do to achieve it. The fear is building within Cory as Vex is looking at him like he would be better off to just kill him.
Maybe that will have to be the decision he has to make because Cory isn’t going to back down, that much is pretty obvious. Cory knows what he has to do and there’s no way that he is going to keep doing this.
“Fine, have it your way.” Vex grumbles, and Cory notices how guards slowly move in, “it looks like you’re going to have to go speak with the owner… You better hope you are worth it to him alive.”
Cory doesn’t know what to say to that, but it is pretty obvious that he is not going to walk away from it either. With Vex at the front, he is being escorted deeper into the Underground, an off-limits area that he has never been to before.
He can’t help but look around, seeing how it is so dark and mysterious, and he has no clue what is going to end up happening next. The guards who are down this hall are very well-armed and more than Cory ever expected, but they pay him no attention. Vex has this cocky smile on his face, that much Cory did notice that makes Cory think that Vex believes that Cory is going to end up getting hurt by the end of this.
Cory is hoping it won’t be the case, but he knows he is already indebted for now until the month is over where Judas will be freed. He isn’t entirely certain if it’ll be fine, but he is just trying to make sure that nothing bad will come from it.
“We’re here.” Vex announces, glancing over his shoulder at Cory, “it sucks for you, but Boss is not in the best of moods today… Good luck.”
Cory doesn’t say anything because he is not going to allow Vex to get underneath his skin. With everything that has been coming from it, it makes him wonder just what kind of person the Boss is going to be. With Vex knocking on the door, even Cory was able to hear the deep, gruff voice of a male coming through that is enough to send a shiver down his spine. Yep, he might be royally screwed.
Vex opens the door and a swift push on his back sends Cory inside, barely able to catch himself from falling. As he whips around, the last thing he sees is the smirk on Vex’s face before the door closes behind him. Cory stiffens up, feeling an intense gaze boring into the back of his head that tells Cory he might be a little screwed.
“Turn around.” The man murmurs in this voice that makes Cory feel quite odd.
Ever so slowly, Cory turns around and he comes face to face with the Boss. He is surprised to see the handsome man from the other day, the one who reminded him of what a Greek god would look like. He doesn’t know what to say, seeing the expressionless look on the man’s face that is giving nothing away.
Cory was going to speak up, tempted to do so much more but something tells him that it would not be a good idea.
The next words that come out of the man’s mouth was enough to drive Cory crazy.
“Come here and bend over my lap. It seems to me like you need to be punished.”
