As soon as Kallistos finished talking to the knights he went back to the his old house to see if any of his stuff could be salvaged
Kallostos walked to their house and as he got closer he saw the sorry state that their house was in, almost everything was burnt down. He went around the piles of ashes to see if there was anything valuable he could salvage and bring to the manor, that was when he saw the book he had since he was a child, it was the fairytale book that inspired him to learn aura and mana.
Kallistos was surprised that the book hadn’t been burnt down along with the house; he picked the book up and dusted the ashes off; it seemed that the book was mostly unaffected by the fire. Holding the book he went around the house some more to see if there was anything else that he could salvage, to Kallistos’ dismay he could only find piles and piles of ashes.
After going around the house for half an hour, Kallistos decided to head back, as he was heading back a gust of wind blew which sent a couple ashes in Kallistos’ way but along that gust of wind was a portrait. It was a small painting of Kallistos and his parents on his eighth birthday, it was the last family portrait they had gotten. Kallistos picked up the small portrait and smiled as he remembered the memories this portrait holds. as he finished reminiscing about the past he put the portrait in his book in order for it not to get crumpled or damaged.
Kallistos then went back with a feeling of content, he wasn’t expecting to get anything from his house but he went there anyway because he was hoping that there was at least a small part of his old life that he could take with him as he starts anew, so he was contented he was able to get the two things he was able to salvage.
Kallistos went back to the infirmary tent where he had been staying for quite some time now. He went to his bed and he saw a set of uniform that miss Amelia must have left him while he was gone, beside the uniform, Kallistos saw a sword, his eyes widen as he saw the sword, it was the sword that his father gifted him, He had thought that he lost the sword during the time he went out of control since he has not seen it since, he was delighted to see that it was still in good shape.
Kallistos puts down the book he was carrying beside the sword and tried on the uniform, as he was putting on the uniform he thought that the uniform would be too large for him and he was right the uniform was too big for him but to his surprise the uniform started to change size in order to fit him better, Kallistos stood in amazement, the uniform had just readjusted its size in order to fit Kallistos comfortably. The uniform also included a few buffs in order the durability of the uniform to strengthen
‘They must have spent quite a penny on this’ Kallistos thought looking astonished at the uniform that miss Amelia and sir Henry got him, magically engineered clothing that can resize itself is quite expensive not to mention magically engineered knight uniforms, for sir Henry to give such an expensive item to Kallistos meant that sir Henry really has high expectations for Kallistos.
As the day has started to end, Kallistos took of the uniform and went to sleep

Kallistos woke up and got ready before sunrise and joined Henry and the other Knights.
“Kallistos you're here!” Henry saw Kallistos and started to wave his hand
“How do you like the uniform kiddo?” Henry asked Kallistos
“It’s amazing, it resized itself and it has a couple enchantment, it must’ve cost a lot, thank you so sir Henry” Kallistos said as he showed his gratitude to the knight
“Don’t thank me that is what is standardized by the Marquis, he pays no mind to expenses as long as his people are safe and treated properly” Henry said, making Kallistos grow a little admiration for the marquis that he has yet to meet
“Alright then, ready yourself up we’ll be leaving in a few minutes” Henry said to Kallistos
“Oh and have you ever traveled using a portal?” Henry asked Kallistos
“No, sir” Kallistos answered Henry
“Then keep in mind that you might feel some motion sickness and might throw up, but it is common for first timers so don’t worry about it” Even though Henry told Kallistos to not worry, Kallistos still felt agitated ever since hearing that he might throw up
“Alright then go join the other knights and form a line, the mages will start casting the portal soon” Henry instructed Kallistos
Kallistos went to Henry’s back and lined up with the other knights. The mages started conjuring up a large portal in order to fit the entire battalion
Kallistos stood in amazement as he watched the mages conjure up the portal, it was his first time seeing such a large scale spell in his life, it was magnificent. Kallistos analyzed the portal and how the mages conjured it up and took notes inside his head. Kallistos was memorizing each and every step to create the portal due to his curiosity.
Not too long after, the portal started opening up and knights started to enter the portal with sir Henry and miss Amelia in the front.
