As Kallistos entered the portal, he was amazed he could feel the massive amount of mana that was put into the portal and in just a split second they were in the outskirts of the Valentin Marquisate, The knights who had only recently joined the battalion started throwing up, as they were still not used to the teleportation, but to Kallistos surprise he didn’t feel any nausea and was fine
“*blerg* how is he fine, isn’t it his first time teleporting?” A knight who was throwing up whispered to his friend
“I have no clue *blergh*” another puking knight said
Kallistos could hear their conversation but he paid them no mind, what he put his focus on was the Marquisate
The Marquisate was outstanding the village that Kallistos grew up in could not compare to the marquisate, there were large and extravagant houses, the market was filled with people, and the most unique factor here was that there were different types of people, there were regular humans, Faes, Elves, dwarves and many more, although it is hard to differentiate them from regular humans since there are only a few differences between these species and humans, but since Kallistos has great mana and aura sensitivity he could feel which species each person was.

Beings like Faes, Fairies, Dragons, Phoenixes, Dwarves, Elves, and Griffins unlike other creatures in the continent these seven species are considered as highly intellectual beings. These beings have human forms and could transform themselves into humans in any given time.
Unlike other Kingdoms and Empires that are only exclusive to specific creatures, in the Etherea Empire each and every species are welcome, it is the first and only kingdom and Empire to ever have many varieties of species among its citizens even some of the nobles in this country are different creatures or has blood of these species in them.

‘Central lands are greater than those of the lands in the outskirts’ Kallistos thought to himself
Kallistos’ thoughts were stopped as a hand placed on his shoulder
“Are you feeling alright, Kallistos?” Henry asked Kallistos, worried for Kallistos since it was his first time teleporting
“I’m alright sir Henry, I’m just taking in the view of the marquisate, it is so different from what I’m used to” Kallistos answered
“Ah, I see” Henry said relieved that the young wasn’t feeling anything bad
“Alright, Kallistos rest up, we will head to the Valentin Manor in a couple minutes” Henry said to Kallistos
“We still have a long way to go before reaching the Manor since teleporting directly to the manor is prohibited for the security protocol and can’t be used inside the Estate unless it is an emergency, since there have been several cases of infiltrations due to teleportations” Henry explained to Kallistos and let him rest
After a few minutes Henry shouted for everyone to prepare for departure once more
“Can you ride a horse?” Henry asked Kallistos
“No sir” Kallistos answered meekly
“As expected, then get on my horse and hold on tight” Henry instructed Kallistos. Kallistos got on the horse with the help of Henry
“Why is he getting special treatment?” One of the new knights in the back whispered to his comrade
“Haven’t you heard? That kid is the new apprentice of Sir Henry” another knight whispered back
“What?!?! Him?!?! What is so special about him? Didn’t sir Henry not like the thought of having an apprentice?”
“I thought so too since the only apprentice he took in was the marquis’ son and daughter”
“From what I’ve seen he’s just average, I don’t see why sir Henry took a liking to him”
“Do you think he is sir Henry’s bastard?”
“Quiet! We will be departing now” Henry shouted and the knights gossips stopped
Soon the Battalion started to move once more

After an hour the Knight Battalion arrived at the gate of the Valentin manor
Kallistos was astounded by the estate, the manor was large and extravagant, there were knights on every corner, different types of flowers could be seen on its garden, the fence walls had expensive embellishments and even the gate was extravagant it was made out of pure gold and to top it all of everything was reinforced by magic and the estate had a barrier, strong enough to not be seen by the naked eye and would have been hard to detect even with detection magic.
As the knights were about to enter they heard a loud commotion…
To be continued…
