In the reaches of space, the humpback continues its journey. The humpback is on high alert for potential hostiles. Captain Farron stands firm knowing the humpback has become a target for the federation. Just then, the sonars picked up a blip, multiple blips. Farron and the crew watched as an enormous fleet surrounded the humpback. The crew notice the fleet was following a massive, shark-like ship. At that moment, the crew of humpback realize what that ship was. The fleet was being led by the flagship of the Imperial galactic federation, the MEG. The MEG towers over the humpback and contains enough fire power to bring down multiple humpbacks. Left with no choice, Farron orders all starfighter pilots to prepared for combat.

Receiving the orders, Jack and the pilots enter the starfighters and prepare to defend the humpback. In response, the MEG sends its own starfighters to counter the humpbacks. Shots are fire from both starfighters and spaceships. The humpback takes heavy damage while the MEG is barely scratched. The starfighters don't fair any better. For every imperial starfighter shot down, the humpback loses four more. Jack tries desperately to shoot down as many enemy starfighters and save as many of his fellow pilots as he can.

The fighting rages on but its no use. Left with no other options, Farron orders all starfighters to return to the humpback. The pilot recognize the order as a tactical retreat. The starfighters retreat back to the humpback with Jack providing cover fire. Just then, an energy bolt glances past the eagle destroying one of its wings. With the eagle badly damaged, Jack hurries back to the humpback. Jack is barely able to stabilize as the eagle crashes into the docking bay and slides across the floor. Despite its damaged condition, the humpback warps as far away from the federation fleet. This battle has dealt a crippling blow to the humpback and the crews morale.

Back on the MEG, its crew celebrate their victory over the humpback. The celebration was cut short as Voran, the bruton general of the MEG ordered the crew to track down the humpback.

"Track down where that ship is heading. We bring that tech back to the Emperor. For the glory of the federation!" Commanded General Voran.

"For the Federation!" Shouted the crew as they begin to track down the humpback.
