Chapter 11.

The passing of the hours.

Garrett was starting to get upset because the girl wasn't answering, so he took one of her ankles in his hands and squeezed it tightly and shouted:  START RESPONDING OR I'LL BREAK YOUR ANKLES!!!!!, the girl started to cry, she couldn't do it and then she raised her neck a little and pointed to the scar, the man understood what she was trying to convey and asked, "Can't you talk?" The girl, afraid of the feeling of the frustrated man, put her hand on her head and said: great, Ricky's only daughter is a damn mute, I suppose you have understood everything I have told you, that is why you will feel that you will shake that little head that you have on your body if you accept option one or option two, for that you have your fingers, so that show me the numbers one and two with them and tell me with your head if you accept or not, ¿understood?  The girl shook her head in response. The man raised a single finger on his hand and the girl shook her head. Then the man raised the other finger and also shook her head and the man slapped her and, grabbing her by the ankle, he dragged her throughout the room until he took her down the stairs and she hit herself with each step that he hurriedly went down. The girl cried and barely sobbed,  Garrett pulled the door of the house shut and continued dragging her until he reached his truck where he opened the passenger door and sat her down, tied her wrists and feet and put the seat belt on her and then told her before closing the door…I like clear and precise answers that you deny twice the only options I gave  you, it really irritates me because a poor equal like you, no matter how mute she is, has to know her place...
