Aron Twilightstar has begun reading an autobiography documenting the lives of people he took years ago.
The first story starts off with a young adult named Leon who has been imprisoned for assaulting his ex girlfriend.
Leon doesn’t believe that he did this, but the court system, society, and his roomates say otherwise. If there is anyone that Leon can blame, it would be his intrusive thoughts.
While in prison, he’s released, but not because of his innocence.
The Earthshine Facility has arranged to bail Leon out of prison in exchange for him being treated for his new mysterious disorder. Dissasociative Identity Disorder. A mental illness that affects his memory. One that makes him think he’s sharing a body with multiple other people.
When he meets with his therapist, Laurel Giro, she informs him that the only way to leave this facility, is by graduating through the ranks in this facility.
She also tells him that his intrusive thoughts aren’t actually his, but they belong to another person in him.
This leaves him to wonder, which thoughts and actions are truly his?
To find these answers, she tells him he must consume The Black Pill.
This strange black pill is delivered three times a day to Leon by the hands of a mysterious stalker known as The Watcher.
Strange things happen to Leon when he takes the pill. He blacks out and arrives in places he can’t remember getting to. He says things he doesn’t remember saying.
Now he’s left to wonder. Is it he or the pill that’s causing him to act out?
Or better yet…is it the other person sharing the body with him?
