Asukem's gaze narrowed as he locked eyes with Aqilus, responding in a menacing growl, "I couldn't bear it either!" Asukem unleashed ah'keim's claw, enveloping his arm in crackling electricity, and lunged towards Aqilus. The strike landed as he swung his electrified claw, sending Aqilus hurtling backward into the wall. Despite the impact, Aqilus let out a scream of agony as the electric shock surged through his body, rendering him paralyzed. Once the effects subsided, he chuckled weakly, exhausted from the attack, proclaiming, "I always knew I was stronger than you!"
Asukem fixes Aqilus with a piercing stare in his demonic form and advances slowly towards him. However, Asukem's newfound determination and demonic power were so intense that the people in the castle with him started to faint or feel unwell. Lightning crackled around him, the wind whipped around him, slicing through the walls and pillars of the castle without harming anyone, while void-like fireballs swirled around him as the shadows enveloped the castle floors.
As Asukem reached Aqilus, he loomed over him with a fierce glare. Grasping Aqilus's neck, he declared, "Maybe I gave in, but I am not like you! I possess honor, respect, and loyalty! You lack all of those!" he bellows with intense fury, shouting, "I would never harm my friends!" Increasing the pressure on Aqilus's neck, Asukem forcefully slams him against the wall. Aqilus began coughing up blood as Asukem, consumed by rage, further constricted his grip.
Aquatina noticed that Asukem was about to kill Aqilus if he didn't calm down. With tears in her eyes, she softly but firmly inquired, "Asukem, please. Can we do something to help him?" Asukem gave Aquatina a surprised look, seeing her tears, then turned his gaze back to Aqilus and declared, "You're fortunate, you realize that! If she hadn't spoken up, I would have torn you apart!"
Asukem's transformation back to his normal sin kin form began, with his hair returning to white, his skin reverting to a Tanish tone, and his right arm shifting back to human form. The eye on his forehead disappeared, and his wolf-like tail vanished into thin air. His blackish armor faded into the shadows, revealing his robe-like attire once more. Despite still having his demonic claw on Aqilus's neck, Asukem sighed and uttered, "Be healed." He then took a deep breath, raised his index finger to his chin, pointed to the ground, and released Aqilus's neck, adding, "Sin Seal!"
Aqilus collapses to the ground, released by Asukem, and begins to transform back into a regular Siren. He lets out a scream of agony, although no physical harm befalls him. Asukem and Aquatina exchange puzzled glances as Aqilus pleads, "Stop it! Stop it! I can't bear it! The agony! The agony! The agony of solitude, make it cease, please!" His cries escalate into sobs, and he drops to his knees, burying his face in his hands as tears stream down his cheeks. "Why? Why have you done this to me? I don't deserve this!" Aqilus' limbs feel heavy as he gazes out at the oceanic sky, tears cascading down his face. With deep, shuddering breaths, he cries out once more, "I just want to end it all, please end my torment."
Aquatina reacted to Aqilus' words by slapping him across the face. Aqilus looked at her in surprise, holding his cheek. Aquatina glared at him with a mix of anger and revulsion. She knew he had returned to his usual self, but it was still painful for her to see him in such despair. Despite this, she continued to observe him.
Aqilus' green skin had a different hue now, and his teal hair had transformed into a bluish-green shade, with fish fin-like ears visible. His yellow eyes remained unchanged, and there was no sign of corruption. His hands and feet had webs, and a fish fin adorned the end of his tail. Aquatina's eyes welled up as she scolded him, "How can you say you want to die? What about me and Triton? Aren't we still friends?" She wiped her tears and continued, "Maybe we can help you through this pain, Aqilus. Please trust us!"
Aqilus casts a timid glance towards Asukem, only to be met with a glare of anger. Aqilus expresses his concern, "I don't deserve such kindness. What if I succumb to corruption once more?" Asukem responds sternly, "You won't, my seal will shield you from any corruption. Consider yourself fortunate to have it!" Aqilus bows his head in gratitude, murmuring, "Thank you." Asukem gruffly retorts, "Don't thank me, Aquatina was the one who rescued you from me!" Aqilus hangs his head in disappointment, "I understand, I am truly a sack of rotten fish." Asukem smirks harshly, "I wouldn't say rotten, more like a dead fish."
Aquatina shot a glare at Asukem. Asukem smirked and provided a clever explanation, "Oh, don't get me wrong. Rotten fish you have to throw away, while dead fish you can savor for rations, so basically you're still useful to Aquatina and Triton." Asukem's expression turned sour once more as he warned, "But if you make her cry like you did before, I will kill you!"
Asukem, an 18-year-old orphan from Rikros, is transformed into a sinkin by an evil demon who wields power to torment souls with her lust. Ah'keim, a powerful being with a mysterious ulterior motive, mentors him as he struggles to regain his humanity and undo the damage caused by the female demon. With the help of new friends who try to help him escape his fate as a sinkin, Asukem sets out to fight the void and gain control over his powers, all while seeking redemption for his past sins.
