Djé||é was traversing the Djédjádjén Desert, en route to the next Holy Comb. The wind was fierce, with sand-laden gusts whispering ominously about death. Djé||é could hear the hurried steps of the Bosúnirún trailing him, also in pursuit of the Holy Comb.

Djé||é's goal was to unite all the Holy Combs on his head. With one comb, one might experience miracles, gain immense power, or face death. But with all nine combs, something extraordinary was said to happen, though no one knew what. The Bosúnirún sought the combs for their own gain and power over Ossain’oosá, but Djé||é believed in a greater purpose—the Will of the Comb. The Bosúnirún were closing in, but Djé||é reached the destination first.

Djé||é found the comb, an oddly shaped relic. As soon as he took hold of it, the Bosúnirún appeared and trapped them in a sound vortex. They saw Djé||é's dark skin and suspected he was an Osádjún, nullifying his advantage of disguise. However, they were unaware of the full extent of his power. The Bosúnirún launched their attack with the Gates of Osasá. With a swift move, Djé||é grasped their hair, tearing it out at the roots, rendering them bald and vulnerable to Music Monster attacks. He summoned the Music Monsters from the surrounding area, and they converged on the now defenseless Bosúnirún. Taking advantage of the chaos, Djé||é mounted a horse-lion and made his escape.
