Bailey hid behind a wall, peeking at Kairos who was surrounded by many other wolves.

'Go on little flower, stop avoiding him' Nameless encouraged gently and Bailey shook his head

'I'm not avoiding him! I just don't want to face him!!' Bailey exclaimed and Nameless sighed

"Nevermind! Wanna hear something interesting? Close your eyes!" Nameless ordered and Bailey obeyed.

As soon as he did, he saw the scene of Kairos defending him making his heart feel warm.

He then opened his eyes abruptly, looking down with a small smile

"H-he thinks I'm pretty?" Bailey whispered to himself and Nameless snickered

'That's all you got? Don't you think that you should thank him?' Nameless asked and Bailey nodded

"Yeah, I should!" He exclaimed before shyly going after the alpha who was humming to himself

After thanking him, Bailey quickly rushed away, not wanting the alpha to tease him

"Dance with me, Bailey!" North said in his pretty black dress and Bailey grinned

"Okay! By the way, those alphas are all horrible! I heard them talk about you and I was pissed that they were treating you as a piece of clothes!" Bailey exclaimed in anger and North giggled

"I'm used to it!! I'm not interested anyway, I've um.. I've found someone whom I want to mate with!" He replied shyly and Bailey frowned

"But aren't you into betas? You know, omegas don't always have to be with alphas, right?" Bailey questioned

"I know! I umm, I am dating both a beta and an alpha! I love both of them, you know? They are both in the same pack. I fell in love with the beta but the alpha of the pack also love him! The beta likes me but he likes the alpha too. So, We've decided to be together. The alpha is a good man too so it wasn't hard to get along" North explained

North was the second omega of the pack and he has always been Bailey's first friend.

"Hey there, little princess" A tall man with black hair said softly and Bailey stared at the alpha with curious eyes.

"H-hi! H-how do I look?" North stuttered and the alpha chuckled

"So so pretty! Won't you introduce me to your little friend?" He asked

"Bailey, this is Max, my alpha! Max, this is Bailey, my best friend" North introduced and Max smiled warmly, stretching his hand

"Hi there, nice to meet you!" Max said softly and Bailey narrowed his eyes

He took the alpha's hand and squeezed it tight, using Nameless' strength making the alpha tense

"Let me see if you're worthy of my baby" Bailey said coldly, staring into the alpha's eyes

This was considered as a provocation making the alpha restless. Bailey smirked as the alpha didn't back down

The alpha continued to stare into his eyes before looking away in defeat

Bailey laughed at the result and released his hand

"I win!" Bailey said proudly while Max rubbed his right hand

"So, am I worthy of North?" Max asked, wincing at his still stinging hand and Bailey nodded

"Yes, you are worthy! I approve of your relationship!"

"Glad you do. North said that I had to ask for your approval at all cost" Max explained and Bailey couldn't help but give North a gentle peck on the cheeks.

"You're so cutee North!! I love you!" Bailey confessed sweetly making North giggle

"Where's Damien? I wanna show Bailey to Damien!" North sulked, looking for his other mate.

"I'm here, little angel" A soft voice said and Bailey saw a cute skinny man with curly hair. The person was almost the same height as Bailey, a little taller, and wore glasses

Geeky, just like Bailey expected!

He was completely North's type!

He was shorter than an alpha yet, taller than North and Bailey

"This is Bailey! Say hi to Bailey!" North introduced and the man shakily stretched his hand

"Hi, I'm um, Damien, nice to meet you!" Damien stuttered awkwardly and Bailey smiled politely, shaking his hand

"It's always the alphas that are misunderstood" Max mumbled under his breath, amusing everyone

"Oo, by the way, don't let any alphas approach North! They're all criminals" Bailey said in irritation and Max patted his head in amusement

"Of course little guy, don't worry! His mates are here!" Max cooed, unconsciously softening his voice while addressing an omega and Bailey scowled

"Don't touch my hair!" He hissed in irritation and Max only laughed harder

"May I help you?" A quite cold voice said and Bailey turned around to see an annoyed Kairos confronting Max.

"Are you by chance bothering these two omegas?" Kairos asked the alpha, completely ignoring the beta who didn't seem like a threat.

"It's always the alpha!" Max, Bailey, North and Damien sighed in unison, confusing Kairos

"Alpha Kairos, you have my respect. I'm Alpha Max from Bluemoon pack, it's a pleasure to meet you" Max said politely

"Likewise, alpha Max! I'm sorry, I misunderstood. I've heard a lot about you and you don't seem like someone who would bother anyone." Kairos apologised, surprising Bailey by being respectful

Why does he act like an asshole with me though!?

Bailey thought sulkily

'Baby flower, you know that I love when you get angry! Kairos is the same, we just love to bully you' Nameless teased and Bailey scoffed to himself

"Are you by chance Bailey's alpha?" North asked curiously and Bailey blushed, quickly shaking his head.

"Of course not!" Bailey replied immediately while Kairos smiled teasingly

"I wonder about that" Kairos replied in amusement

'Nameless...don't tell me that he wants to be my mate?' Bailey questioned in confusion.

'Well done, little flower!' Nameless cooed while Bailey frowned, staring at alpha Kairos in contemplation.

"Alpha Kairos, can I have a word with you?" Bailey asked with crossed arms and Kairos nodded immediately

"Sure, please excuse us" Kairos apologised before following Bailey to an unoccupied table

"What king of games are you playing, Alpha Kairos? You rejected me and now, you're acting weird! I don't understand you" Bailey asked in irritation

"Little omega Bailey, I don't remember rejecting you" Kairos blurted, taking a sip of the wine in his glass and Bailey frowned

"What? But you were behaving like such a caveman!" Bailey explained making Kairos choke at the insult

He could not deny that the omega was right and tried to explain himself;

"I cannot let anyone become the second leader of my pack, Little omega. I have to see how my future partner would react in certain situation. If I recall correctly, I asked you a question about breaking a fight in the pack and you gave me an answer. I did told you that your answer wasn't what I was expecting. However, I did not say that the answer was incorrect, did I? You were the one who got angry and misunderstood me" Kairos explained and Bailey paused.

"That's because you were being an asshole! You deserved it because-...... Sorry" Bailey apologised in the end, realising that indeed, he was the one who got angry. He was just disappointed that the Kairos he fell in love with wasn't who he expected

He felt like he was the one at fault since he immediately thought that alpha kairos was a Saint just because he was acting sweet towards the bunny. He never realised that this was just a tiny part of Kairos' personality!

But....even now, his heart still raced on seeing the handsome man. Alpha kairos wasn't that much of an asshole as Bailey thought he was.

"Hey now, look at me, I was just teasing you! Come on, don't look so down, it doesn't suit you" Alpha Kairos cooed softly and Bailey stared at him with soft teary eyes.

Kairos felt his heart slam against his chest and he was ashamed to admit that he seem to enjoy this side of Bailey too much.

"Awe look at you, I'm sorry Bailey, forgive me? Don't blame yourself, little omega, I was the bad guy, you know? I was purposely trying to rile you up that time! Come on, wipe your face?" Kairos asked softly, kneeling next to the little omega. He removed his handkerchief and gently cupped Bailey's cheeks before wiping his tears

"There there, you okay now?" Kairos asked softly and Bailey sniffed before nodding

He did not want to cry but this was another side effect of his powerful, uncontrolable emtions.

"Y-yeah, m'fine. I-I'm sorry" Bailey answered weakly, playing with his fingers and Kairos smiled

"You know, I stopped searching for my mate long ago because I had already chosen you. I know that I'm a huge asshole, I know that I tease you too much but I also know that I'll try my best to keep you happy. So Bailey, I'll be coming to ask for your hand as my mate next week, I'll hear your answer by then. You can reject me or accept me, it's your choice. So until then, think about me properly" Kairos explained before getting up, patting his knees to remove the dust on his suit

"I'm gonna go now, okay ,little omega?" Kairos asked sand Bailey nodded

"O-Okay, I'll think about it" Bailey replied. When Kairos walked away, Bailey suddenly smile in happiness

"Nameless, he wants to be my mate " Bailey exclaimed, lost in happiness

Unknown to him, the 6'2 man with brown hair took a sip of his drink, glaring at the weak omega who was giggling to himself. Clenching his fist, his eyes followed the figure of alpha Kairos who was happily eating his food

Alpha kairos, the one with the demon wolf. An alpha like him choose such a weak omega as his mate?

This is unacceptable! He deserves much better than that pathetic bitch of an omega.

He was supposed to be mine!

Hmm, I'll enjoy taming such a powerful alpha.

But first, I need to get rid of that omega
