Lake Manyl has been Kairos' friend since they were 15. Now at 26, he is the beta of the Blood Moon Pack. Disinterested in relationships, Lake usually attracts creepy guys he despises. Let's just say, he attracted another 'creepy' guy: a 6'3" tall warrior named Nicolai.

Nicolai is cocky, arrogant, cold, and - wrong. According to Lake, Nicolai is the definition of a goofball and stupidity. Nicolai wants Lake as his mate, much to Lake's dismay. For someone who doesn't want love, Nicolai might just be perfect!

Note: All characters are over 18. No rape or forced relationships are depicted. The story includes child abuse but only as a prologue.

Warning: This story contains violence, child abuse (as a backstory), blood, mature language, and some kissing, but no explicit content.

Author's Note: For those who came from Wattpad, I decided to edit this, so there may be some changes regarding Bailey's personality, particularly concerning his baby behavior, which I found suffocating.
