It's been a month ever since Kairos and Bailey decided to take their time to get to know each other and now, they were ready to finally move on to the next stage before the mating that is, for Bailey to officially become Kairos' luna

"They grow up so fast" Jack sighed, patting the head of his two mates who were crying on his neck as Bailey was packing his bag

"Don't cry!" Bailey whispered, feeling emotional at the sight of his aunty and little uncle cry

Jack wanted to cry too but he refrained

"Aunty, it isn't good for the baby if you cry" Bailey said and they suddenly froze

"What?" Jack asked in confusion while Bailey smiled softly

"I wanted you to realise it yourself but, congratulations uncle, aunty, little uncle. Aunty Lily is pregnant with two children" Bailey admitted and he watched as his aunt shakily placed her hand on her belly

"Don't play with me Bailey...we've been trying for years now... I can't have a child" His aunt said in disbelief and Bailey chuckled

"I'm not kidding aunty, because of Nameless, I can see your babies and Nameless said that they're perfectly healthy. I know their gender and status too but, no matter how much you will beg me, I will never tell you! It's a surprise" Bailey exclaimed and his aunt sobbed, looking at her two mates

"W-w'ere having two babies" She whispered, and this time, tears filled alpha's Jack eyes

Marcus sniffed and felt his mate hold his hand

"A-are you happy, Marcus?" Lili asked shyly and Marcus immediately nodded

"S-so much! I can never give birth anymore but you can! I can still have babies because of you, of course I'm happy, Lily" Marcus whimpered, hugging his female alpha who chuckled, patting his head

"My sweet baby, I wish one of them end up as sweet as you" She whispered to her mate who blushed and Bailey smiled

"Nameless said that one of them has uncle Marcus' blood" Bailey said, revealing yet another good news

Werewolves' pregnancy worked a bit differently. Since some people chose more than one mate, it wouldn't be fair to have only the babies of one mate.

Werewolves have only a single egg like normal human but, if two different semen is often 'detected', the body develops and start to produce two eggs instead of one so that the semen of both mates can each fertilise one egg.

His aunty is pregnant with both the baby of Jack and Marcus.

So, the babies aren't twins because the semen are different.

It's kinda like two half brothers in the same womb.

Sometimes though, it's possible for the semen of a single mate to fertile both eggs even when there's two partners. Then, they give birth to twins!

When there's only one partner, aka only one semen is often detected in the body, then it's a normal pregnancy

"Really? One of them is my child?" Marcus asked in awe and Bailey nodded

"Yes. So, don't cry aunty! You have to keep your babies well! They're 2 weeks old!" Bailey exclaimed and Lili nodded

"I will keep them well!" She answered and Bailey smiled

"Now, don't cry okay? Even when I'm gone, you'll have two new babies to take care of" Bailey cheered and Lili instantly hugged Bailey

"You were and are my first child, silly! Please visit me at least once every week, it's just an hour away" Lili whimpered in sadness

"I can't promise but I'll try! Kairos is coming with members of his pack to fetch me" Bailey said as some pack warriors took some of Bailey's stuff

"As per the rules, we can't drop you there nor come to see you until a week...you'll be okay, right?" Marcus asked in concern and Bailey nodded

"Yes uncle, I'll be fine! Now, let's head up or I'll end up crying and beg you to not let me go" 

"That doesn't sound bad at all!" Jack replied and Bailey smiled softly, sad yet amused at his uncle's tantrums.

"I don't want to leave you either.... But it had to be done one day" Bailey answered sadly and his uncles and aunt wiped their tears to force a smile. If they start crying, the knew Bailey would not be able to hold back either

"Alpha Jack, as per the traditions, here are some tokens that belong to my pack which is now yours. I promise to cherish, respect and protect your omega. I can't tell you how grateful I am for such a mate like him to be mine. I am grateful for the love he received all these years." Kairos said in gratitude. He knew that the strong omega Bailey was currently was due to the upbringing, love and education he received from his pack.

"Let's go little omega, are you okay?" Kairos asked softly, looking at the omega who was trying to his hard to not break down

"Y-yeah, I'm fine" He replied softly, not making eye contact with anyone making Kairos frowned

"Baby, Are you crying?" Kairos asked and Bailey sniffed, shaking his head to deny the statement. 

"No, I am fine" He repeated stronglt and Kairos nodded, not wanting to force Bailey to talk. Bailey was trying his best to hold back and Kairos started to question him in front of everyone, the little omega would probably cry or feel humiliated.

"Alright, come here" Kairos said, stretching his hand and Bailey looked back, biting his lips to refrain from sobbing as he saw his uncles and aunt ; his only family; his parents.

"I'll miss you" He whispered, waving at them before holding Kairos' hand

"We'll miss you too Bailey" They said together and Bailey quickly truned around, pulling Kairos away. He did not want to stay there any longer knowing that he would never want to leave if he made up his mind. As they made their way, Bailey looked around in deep thoughts, slowly calming his emotions. 

Fortunately, it was windy and the sun was shining just right. He could feel Kairos' thumb rub over his fingers ever since they left and it helped a lot in appeasing him. After half an hour of walking, Bailey was starting to get tired and he frowned in distaste, glaring at a confused Kairos who could not understand why his mate was suddenly angry at him

"We have been walking for so long! Why didn't you bring a car or something?" Bailey complained and Kairos sighed, realising why his mate was irritated. He had forgotten that although Bailey was strong, he was still an omega with weak.  Bessies, Bailey was emotionally drained right now and it probably used most of his energy. 

"I am sorry sweetheart, I did not take account for this. Up?" Kairos apologised softly before opening his arm to pick up the tired omega who immediately snuggled against his neck, closing his eyes to take a rest. Having walked for so long and exhausted his emotions, he could not help but fall asleep while kairos' heart felt soft on holding and caring for his little mate. 

Some pack warriors who had heard Bailey's complain were a bit confused as to why their alpha was acting so soft for someone so spoiled.

They knew that Kairos hated omegas who were weak, so, what was so special about this one? Isn't he just oike the rest of them?

He looks like another spoilt and weak omega!

One of the pack warrior thought but he flinched when the omega who was sleeping suddenly opened his eyes which seemed devoid of emotions. The omega was only staring at him with no expression but the pack warrior felt as if his thoughts were being read. He did not understand why he felt threatened by the harmless omega. 

He took a deep breath and looked away, trying to calm his emotions when all of sudden, he heard an unknown voice inside his head

'Know your place, warrior. D'ont forget that he is your luna and your duty is to protect him, not critize him. Understood?'

'Understood' He replied in fear, sighing in relief when the stare from earlier was gone. When he looked at the omega again, the latter sleepily opened his eyes to stare at him in confusion before smiling gently at him. Right then, he could feel his heart melt at the soft smile.

After a little rest when Bailey woke up, He got down from Kairos' embrace and decided to walk the rest of the journey. He was now in form and was really lively. He soon started to chat with the rest of the pack warriors who eagerly replied. Although a few of them did not care about him, most of them were eager for their pack to fnally get a luna. Knowing how picky their alpha was, they were afraid that their pack would not get a luna.

Lunas were different from a pack alpha. While a pack alpha mostly concentrated on a pack' security, a Luna was mailnly responsible for the improvement and way of living of the pack. Besides, when the alpha randomly gets mad, at least they have a way of surviving!!

When they neared the pack, Bailey could see Lake wait in front , along with hundreds of pack members behind, eager to see their luna. 

"Lake!" Bailey exclaimed, eagerly rushing to meet Lake while Kairos sulked in jealousy.

Tsk, he seem happier to see Lake than  me

The alpha thought in jealousy

"Hi Little omega, I usually hate everything Kairos does but choosing you as his mate was the best thing he has ever done in his entire life " Lake praised as soon as Bailey was in front of him. He could not resist but pinch Bailey's cheeks in adoration

"Stop!" Bailey exclaimed, trying to push Lake's hand away from his cheeks making Lake laugh before gently patting his head in apology

"As much as I wanna ruin Kairos' life, I'll allow him to show you around instead of me" Lake teased and Kairos rolled his eyes

"How lucky of me. Thank you, my lord, for giving me such a good opportunity" Kairos replied in fake gratitude. This greatly amused Bailey who he loved seeing their interraction. All of sudden, he caught an intense gaze on him making him walk in front of the man.

"Hello to you to, Have you never seen an omega in your entire life?" Bailey asked,

"I'm sorry Luna, I am a new member of this pack. I remember seeing you and was just trying to figure out where. I did not mean to disrespect you" He replied in apology and Bailey nodded in understanding, knowing that he did not mean any harm

" I am Bailey, omega of Redmoon pack. Nice to meet you, I am your new luna!" He replied politely, stretching his hand for a handshake and the man accepted it

"NIce to meet you, Luna. My name is Nicolai and -ouch" Nicolai, who was introducing himself suddenly blurted in pain as the grip in his hand was really strong.

Bailey stared into his eyes with a challenging gaze and Nicolai gulped, bowing his head in respect while ignoring the pain in his hand.

"Luna"  He replied, knowing that it was a show of power alphas usually demonstrated. He did not expect for his Luna to assert his dominance like an alpha but he dare not complain. Nobody said that Luna did not have the right to deonstrate power the same way an alpha should! He was really impressed and so was everyone who could somehow feel the chnage in aura of their Luna.

One by one, the pack members started bowing, calling 'Luna' in a respecful tone which pleased Bailey 

"Hm, you passed the test, I like you!" Bailey replied, finally releasing Nicolai's hand while the pack members stood straight, waiting for their Luna to finish interacting with the pack's beta. There was a hierarchy to be followed when a luna meet the pack ; First, he meets his mate which is the alpha, then the pack warriors who accompany the alpha. When he reaches the pack, he should then meet with the beta, then the leader of the warriors, followed by the ordinary pack members.

"I'm glad you like me, Luna" Nicolai asked politely and Bailey smiled before staring at Lake

"Lake, don't bully him! I instantly knew that he liked you and wanted to warn him to not hurt you. But now, it looks like I have to do the opposite! Don't hurt the poor guy's heart, okay?" Bailey teased and Lake blushed for the first time, nodding in embarrassment

"We aren't together so, there's no need for me to hurt him" Lake replied sulkily and Bailey chuckled at the denial 

"Sure!" He exclaimed, walking back to Kairos

Lake didn't expect Bailey to have caught on that Nicolai was interested in him.

'I was the one who told him since I know everything' A voice said in Lake's head and Lake's eyes widened, looking around in confusion

'Silly beta, don't look so shocked and frightened. You're Bailey's favourite, so, I'm no harm to you' the voice said again and although Bailey did not know what Nameless did, he could already imagine what happened at Lake's confusion.

"That's Nameless, sorry about that, Lake" Bailey explained, taking Kairos' hand in his and Lake slowly nodded.

He had forgotten that the same sweet Bailey was the one with the demon wolf

"it's fine" Lake reassured and Bailey was glad that Lake didn't question anything. Bailey wasn't part of the pack so, it was impossible for him to communicate with Lake mentally. He could only do so because of Nameless.

Normally, a week after Lunas join the pack, a ceremony is held where mental connection with the pack members gets opened. However, Bailey was a human; he was not considered as a werewolf. He was a human with a demon wolf. The difference was that when Nameless shifts, Bailey would not be able to control the wolf. For werewolves, the humans are able to control their wolf form. 

Bailey finall y stepped inside the pack to meet his members while Nicolai and Lake were still outside.

"You're quite close with little luna, I see" Nicolai stated and Lake nodded

"Yeah...He is the only omega among 28 candidates to have won my heart. He's really cute and adorable! I'm sure most pack members will like him" Lake said with confidence

"Now, I'm jealous of the luna" Nicolai complained and Lake rolled his eyes

It's been almost a month since Nicolai had joined the pack and the man was pursuing Lake without hiding his intention.

Everyday, Lake had to accept a rose from Nicolai and every single day after taking a bath, Nicolai invited himself to his room to watch t.v, as if he doesn't have one in his room!

"No need to be jealous! I don't like him like that, just like I don't like you in that way" Lake said flatly and Nicolai grinned,

"Sure Lake, sure!"
