A shorter two paged episode this time, to test out how two paged episodes will fare. Next episode, coming 28th of August, will be three pages long, but more episodes may be two pages depending on the feedback on this episode.
The jousting tourney continues, and the fox Princess Anima proves that she's up to date with the rules of jousting by telling how the knights get scores.
Also upon seeing knights getting injured during the jousting tourney and seeing them taken to the healer clerics, Sir Kiljaos is reminded of his friend San the lynx cleric. Sir Kiljaos laments the fact that San is not in Aborku as well, but little does he know that the forces of darkness have trapped San in ice, as we saw in the epilogue of 'Iku-Turso Awakens' story arc.
The rules of jousting shown here are largely the same like in real life jousting, with exception of having a fourth joust if scores are even, and is my own addition taken from modern day sports.
Also in real life since late middle ages it hasn't been that common for the knights to get unhorsed in jousting, so scoring by breaking lances is more important in real life jousting.
Also this scene where rules are told is loosely inspired by a similar scene in a movie A Knight's Tale (Columbia Pictures, 2001), one of my favorite movies and sources of inspiration for this story arc.

In an other dimension, exists the world of Karamador, inhabited by humans and human-like animals and insects known as anhinis.
The first series, Karamador Fantasy, sets in a reneissance- fantasy type time era, during the times of great dangers and legendary heroes. We mostly follow the adventures of Sir Kiljaos Windmane, the lion paladin of wind. Sir Kiljaos is a wandering paladin who travels around his homeland Pohjoland and the other parts of Karamador, fighting the forces of evil and helping those in need, and in hopes to get paid in the process. During his adventures he also meets and teams up with many different companions to fight the forces of chaos, like for example the beastly insectoids of Hordium, the undead, demonic invasions and ruthless orcs.
Although Karamador is set in a fantasy world, many of it's locations are based more or less on real locations. Many of the stories also involve real life legends and folk lore, especially from Finland and Scandinavia.
