LEMON
Being fair had never been something I was good at, while playing cards with the maids, and cheating the entire time I couldn’t help but think.
Today was the third day, and I had yet to get any real clues on why he was to kill me and my family, I needed to do something about it, but what.
Standing, I left the table and tapped my chin, what to do, walking about the halls, I saw Wilkins talking to the count, and quickly I dashed behind a corner.
“Master, it seems the funds are being allocated to the manor's middle sanctuary.” Wilkins said.
“I see, find a way to open it, and report back to me.”
The count's voice was so demanding.
Order me around like that too~
With a prompt step, I found myself moving and the two looked my way.
“Merry Morning to you both, I do hope you're well.” Smiling I glide on over as Wilkins is the first to greet me.
“A pleasure as always My Lady, it’s so good to see you up and smiling.” Wilkins really had the sweetest voice and smile, like a murderous grandfather.
“Why thank you, Wilkins, your smile is why I’m able to smile every day.” Winking at him, I take his hands and giggle.
Then, turning to the count I look him up and down, he was rather dressed up today as well, and he smelled of cologne, he must have gotten back from a meeting.
“You smell dashing, off to see your boy toy?” I ask with a subtle grin.
“I can’t say I am Lady Alindell.” He said with a forced grin.
His face was so gorgeously perfect, even when he was trying to fake a smile, every part of me wanted to just run my tongue along his jaw.
I wonder what he tastes like, probably like delicious man meat.
“Alright, Alright, don’t tell me the details, I simply wished to bid you a good morning.” About to walk away, I found myself trapped by Wilkins.
“May I ask what your plans are for the day?” He asked.
“My plans? Well a simple day of gossiping with the maids, and being-“ Before I could finish, A loud yell echoed through the house.
“Oh honey~ where did you go?! You knooow I can’t function in the morning without vigorous foreplay!”
Mother again, she’s always been rowdy.
Delilah Alindell was the name, she was a sultry and beautiful woman who married father not for his status, nor his money, but for his ability to please her like no other man could.
Hearing footsteps, I look to see father walking through the hall.
“Do forgive her, she tends to be rather vocal hohoho.” Father says with a laugh.
His long blonde hair slicked back and in a tie, he wore a suit and jacket, almost all white and always seemed to look dashing in no matter what he wore.
Not to mention, he always matched mother, which I found the sweetest thing.
“It’s quite alright….” The count says, clearly used to it as it has been about a week since he’s been here, you get used to mother fast, or not at all, there’s really no in-between.
“Honeeeeey! Nooooow! My body needs some rubbing!” Mother yelled throughout the hall.
“Oh, I better go, I’ll see you two at supper.” Father said with a calm smile as he slowly walked past us.
“I’ll see you then farther! Give her tits a good pinch for me~” Waving him away, I turned to the count who looked rather horrified.
He wore the expression well, and quickly shook it off regaining the little composure he had left.
“I too must take my leave..” He said, promptly turning away to be as far away from my parent's infernal bedroom screaming this early in the day.
Waving my hand, I grin, seeing him all flustered was the best part of my day, if only I could have that effect on him.
“A good day to you Count Trixx~ try not to think of my father's ways too much~” I tease.
Turning around he looks almost offended, which only makes me giggle and blow him a kiss, seeing his face scrunch up in disgust was all I needed to make my day complete, and there it was, in all its glory.
I can’t help but giggle, he was truly a most disagreeable man, and I adored him to the moon and back.
Stopping, he looks to Wilkins, and then to me before walking back.
“Would….you care to join me Lady Alindell…?” He said in an almost pained manner.
And i’d feel pained too if a butler was threatening you from behind a cute girl to take her hand for probably another stroll so he could have me out of the way.
“Why I would love to….” I say, as I go to give him my hand, but then quickly take it back, holding it to my cheek.
“But I’m afraid I have other plans.” Smirking, I looked his way, last I checked he knew everyone’s schedule, and what I was to say wasn’t on the list.“I have a date after noon with the cobbler's son, I adore his rough hands.” Looking up, I see the most dissatisfied look on his face.
He’s struggling to even comprehend the entire ordeal, even I can see that.
“You’re fibbing.” He said plainly.
Gasping in an astonished way, I try and pretend like I’m offended he’d even say that, but he’s not wrong, I was just trying to get out of here.
After all, I won’t find any hints if I keep playing around, the best thing I can do now is rummage through his room.
There was this case I was never able to open, as to where the key was I can only guess it’s on his gorgeous, bulging body.
“Do you doubt my ability to seduce a man?” I say as I brush my hair to my shoulder, and raise my eyebrows looking him up and down with a smirk.
“Judging by your gait it’s better than yours.”
With that, I could hardly believe when he took a step forward, and grabbed me under my chin, making me look into his dazzling eyes.
“That’s because I don’t like to be on the receiving end…Lady Alindell.”
Oh kill me now, he’s so smoldering when he gets this way, if he wasn’t plotting my demise with that look I may get on my knees….well, I’d do that anyway.
“Goodness Count Trixx.” My cheeks bloomed pink as I fanned my face and turned my head.
“You sure know how to spoil a lady's imagination.” Giggling, I could hardly contain my excitement, this was going to be a wonderful day, I just felt it, and he just made it better.
“I know…you must want my cobbler! Well, I hate to tell you I believe he’s not into dashing men like yourself, but I’m sure I could ask.”
Winking at him, I take his hand and kiss his fingers with a slight grin, before stepping back and walking away, as quickly as I could.
“A good day to you~” Quickening my pace, I almost tripped through the halls.
And I couldn’t contain the giggles that broke free as I ran across the halls, at first I always maintained the ruse of a proper lady, I was sophisticated, kind, and inquisitive, but now, little mattered.
Running to the third floor, I dashed into the study, climbing the stairs and leaping out the window, but not fully.
His room was but a few windows away, and climbing had always been an unsightly hobby of mine, I fastened myself, and then began the journey from window to window until I reached his.
My first stop would usually be to smell his pillow but last I did that Wilkins noticed someone had been there.
Creeping in, my heels click on the ground, but if I died little mattered, I would die finding something new.
Under his bed was the case, it was locked with a key, but this time I didn’t care, after all, not even a key could stop my curiosity.
Taking the case, I slam it against the floor, again, and again, and again, and then, it breaks apart.
The sounds were sure to attract any manner of people, but alas, I had gotten in. Quickly I rummaged through the papers within.
Oh, it’s the dagger and gun he had killed me with before, I was wondering where they came from.
Moving them to the side, I began reading the articles, most clipped-out newspapers and notes.
The Late Queen falls into the pond at the Royal Castle, the Prince and Princess mourn the loss of their stepmother.
Was the first clipping, the late Queen, she was the stepmother of those rotten siblings, I had heard she was gentle and kind, and when I pulled out an old image, I immediately understood everything.
The image of the late Queen, and a little boy with purple hair, were related….
I could hear as the door opened….
“Wilkins, tell me, was her death an accident…?”
But the silence said it all, sighing, I shuffled my hands.
“Before you kill me, tell me, how were they related?”
I didn’t look behind me, there was no need, he was holding a hot poker to my back, right where my heart would be.
“She was his Aunt….a kind and loving soul.”
“I see….thank you……”
Everything began to go dark as I felt pain across my chest, but I still didn’t get it, why would her death be the reason he killed us? What did my family do?
I suppose I’ll have to try this again, let the show begin I suppose.
