The sound of a massive crack fills the enitre park, as a baseball is sent flying out. A young boy ran  through the bases. He had just struck a massive home run before returning to the dugout. The entire baseball team of red and white jerseys came running and flooded the baseball field. Johnathan Middleton won their middle school's first title after the massive celebration was over. Johnathan walks over to his younger brother. "You call Grandma already?" he asks, excited to tell their grandmother what happened. The younger brother looked up to his older brother and nodded yes "Yeah, I just got done talking with her. She's on her way now; she's excited to hear about your home run." "Awesome," he said, wearing a massive smile on his face hour passes as a red truck pulls up to them as Grandma Middleton speaks out to her grandchildren. "Hey, Boys, did yall have fun in your game." She holds her arms open for them wearing a proud smile on her face as she does so. They run up and kiss her on the cheek. "Hey, Grandma."  "Yeah, I hit the game-winner," Johnathan says with a giant smile on his face "That's amazing, baby; what about you, Andre? You had a good time, too baby ?" Andre nods. "Yeah, I got to third base in the middle of the game to put us up," he said, happy to speak about his accomplishment that nobody else on the team mentioned.  "That's an amazing baby. Well, you boys get in, imma whip you up a big dinner," she said, getting back in and starting up the truck. Johnathan & Andre followed behind; Johnathan sat in the front  passanger and Andre in the back right behind him as they both buckled in "Here we go, boys." she buckles in herself and starts to drive. The drive took about an hour or so. Both the boys had fallen asleep, pretty exhausted from their game. As the car pulled into the driveway, Grandma Middleton turned around she spoke to her grandbabies with a sweet joy filled tone "Boys, we are here." her voice was just loud enough to wake them up but not startle them as she unbuckled herself. Johnathan & Andre wake up from their hour nap rubbing their eyes. They both hop out and follow their grandma into their house  "You boys go in and wash up before; I'll reheat dinner real quick," she said as she washed her hands before getting the food heated up. Johnathan: He had gotten to the bathroom first and finished washing his hands first as he came out of the bathroom quickly, getting seated. "See ya, slowpoke. "Hey!" He waited behind his brother before getting to wash up himself before rushing to the dinner table himself  "Slow down, baby, the food ain't going nowhere," Grandma Middleton says to a running Andre "Yes, ma'am," Andre says, getting seated and eating his dinner.  The boys finished their food before they returned to Jonathan's room to play video games before school in the morning. The two boys decided to play Road Brawler 2; they picked their characters. The two characters were the protagonist and the deuteragonist. They were two brothers who were  trained in the  same style in different ways. The two boys select thier map and get to fighting; it becomes a very close match as the two fight, both getting around each other. In the final round, the fight stayed close; however, Johnathan pulled out the victory, barely beating his brother once again. Andre was downcast about having recivied another loss but smiled through it, not wanting to bring down his big brothers mood with something that minor. "Night, Dre. Good game," says Johnathan, smiling as he hits the lights in his room.  "Good night, John," Andre says as he heads back to his room for sleep. He woke up to the sound of his alarm clock going off and got ready before heading to the kitchen for breakfast He saw Andre come in just as he finished his breakfast. "Morning, Sleepyhead. I grabbed you an umbrella; it's supposed to rain like crazy today."  Andre smiled lightly in response. "Thanks, Grandma; thanks, John." "Yeah, see, you tell Cody I said hey," he said as his friends picked up Johnathan early. He had student council duties to handle early "Yeah, ok, I will," he said, finishing his breakfast and heading out to wait at the bus stop.  As he waited, a tall and skinny young boy came running up to him he was sporting jetblack hair with white streaks dyed seemingly at random. Cody called out to Andre wearing a huge smile whilst doing so. "Yo, Dre," he said as he ran the rest of the way up, "I heard about you and Johnathan's game. Congrats, dude." Andre looked at him with a confused face. "I appreciate it, dude," he said with a big smile. "But what's up with your hair? You get dared by someone?" Cody gives Andre a side-eye and a upset pout. "I don't like what you're insinuating, but if you must know, he shrugged. "Well, I don't know. Its like feels more like me you know? "I think it looks nice, and im sorry for my comment" Andre says with a big smile. "I hope you're not just saying that,  but I appreciate your compliment." Cody retorts.  "Now I don't like what you're insinuating," Andre said with a sigh before two boys laughed  then continued to talk as the school bus pulled to the two.  Andre & Cody hopped up on the bus and took a seat now, discussing some new games that were going to drop. The school bus eventually arrived at school, and crowds of students could be heard talking about Johnathan Middleton. The baseball star could be heard all around.  Andre felt a bit insecure about all the praise his brother got while he got none. "Say I'll see you after school, man; I'll ask grandma if you can come by the house later." Cody smiled and gave Andre a first bump on his shoulder. "Awesome, see you after school," he said as he headed off to class. Andre sat through classes, paying enough attention to get notes and catching glances at his crush, Mia Winters.  He had been working up the courage to ask her out, and after a good game yesterday, he felt today was the day. "Please let me not mess this up." After the school day had ended, a wave of students came out of the class and started to head home. Andre called out too Mia before she headed to a class near a private place near the lockers. "Hey, uhh Mia, I was wondering if you were interested in going out with me sometime," he said with a nervous face.  Mia smiles "Oh, Andre, you are so sweet, but I have my eyes on someone else right now; but you're amazing," she says in a kind, light-hearted tone. Andre frowns "....I see. Well, thanks. Sorry if this was awkward for you," he says, quickly becoming downcast about by the whole interaction and his own buillding jealousy. "Oh, don't worry about that; I hope you find the right girl for you, though," she says, patting his shoulder and walking off after the last bell of the school day. A pretty bummed-out Andre made his way through as he saw Mia talking to Johnathan. He walked close enough to overhear their conversation "So, Johnathan, would you go without me?" she asked, enthralled with the person in front of her. Johnathan replies, "Sure thing, that sounds pretty nice, honestly." Andre who was already feeling frustrated ran off after overhearing the confession, tears starting to well up in his eyes. In this moment all he wanted was to return to his room, however all the spilling emotion led to Andre to fail at noticing a drunk driver running the red light. Johnathan seeing his running brother and chases after him as the two reach the crosswalk. "Andre!! WAIT!" called out Johnathan with a resounding yell that came up. Andre reacted too late to notice a car about to hit him dead on his life flashed before his eyes as everything froze, but before the car could hit him, he seemed to fly foward out of the cars path. As Andre hit the ground, he heard a haunting crunch from behind him. Andre around to see what reamined of his  big brother, and as his eyes filled with tears, he let out a blood-curdling scream, "JOHNATHAN!!!!!!!"
