Zeren, grappling with identity and betrayal, perishes in a fiery act of revenge. Meanwhile, Zakeri, driven to madness by loss, embarks on a violent path before her own demise. Together, in the afterlife, they train newcomers and find a way back to the living world through the Soul Dealer, accepting the associated risks.
