Damian grabbed the chains and used it to swing Jasper down towards the roof. Jasper phased through it then retracted his chains. Damian, now free, flew into the air. A series of blue fireballs erupted out of the rooftop nearly hitting him as he soared. Jasper phased through the roof and returned to the surface. He honed in on Jasper the moment he came into view.
Before Damian could make contact, a wall of flaming chains erupted out of the ground in front of Jasper, cutting the two of them off from each other. Damian clicked his tongue as he flew up into the air to create some distance in the sky and prevent himself from getting burned.
Jasper’s metal arm unfolded into a series of flaming chains that chased Damien through the air. Damian maneuvered around them with quick precision, but just when he thought he had evaded all of them Jasper suddenly appeared in front of him. Jasper grabbed his face, shot through the sky with Damian and dragged his body across the surface of the roof before throwing him off to the side.
He let loose a rage filled scream along with a large cloud of white mist from his body. He generated a strong gust of it that smothered Jasper. “Suffer you asshole!”, Damian snarled. His target phased through the floor behind him and pointed a hand at the back of his head poised for a sneak attack. Morgan’s eyes widened. “Turn around!”.
Damian responded by quickly spinning around while trying to punch Jasper in the face, but his hand phased through his body and was caught by his enemy’s hand.
Jasper gave him a smirk. “You thought you escaped my prison years ago?”. “What?”. Said Damian caught off guard. “Your entire life is a prison that I made”, sneered Jasper. The ghost boy yanked him closer and placed his metal arm on his stomach. “And you can never escape!” Blue flames burst from his hands and shot the skeleton boy through the sky.
Morgan looks around frantically while Onna begins drawing a skull in blood on the floor. Damian landed near a large rock and stood up with difficulty. Morgan smiled when she noticed the stone.
“Bring me the rock!”. Damian clenched his fists. “Shut up! I’m busy!”. He lunges at Jasper, but he phased right through him. Jasper wrapped his chains around Damian and threw him at the same rock which now broke into pieces from the impact. “It’s almost time”, Onna excitedly muttered to herself.
Morgan takes a deep breath and yells out to Damian at the top of her lungs. “ Would you get your head out of your ass for 5 minutes and let me help you?!”. Nerves start to overcome Morgan as Damian glares at her and she regrets her choice of words. “I said…”, Damian began. He struggles to his feet and notices Jasper giving him an unsettling blood lust filled smile. Damian lets out a groan before shouting back to Morgan. “Does it matter which one?!”. “No!”, she shouted back.
Damian grabs a random stone and makes his way towards Morgan. Jasper intercepts him and releases a flurry of chains. Damian puts the rock in his mouth and detaches his head. He threw it towards Morgan before his body got tied up by the ghost boy’s attack. Morgan takes out a pumpkin with black smoke radiating from it from her crystal ball.
The young witch begins chanting. “Shadows trapped in my symbol, alter the properties of this stone, earn the title defender of graves, object delivered by bone!”. Morgan catches Damian’s head and a flash of orange engulfs the rooftop. The light fades away to reveal Morgan holding a gravestone shaped like a shield emanating an orange aura in one hand. In her other hand she has Damian’s skull carefully cradled in her arm.
“Gravestone Shield!” Morgan shouts as she turns her focus to Jasper.
