Before they all reveled in their victory, they witnessed Jon's miraculous moment in full amazement. Jon stood there triumphantly as the monster body fell to the ground. As quickly as the creature fell, Jon also fell down as well. He was down on his knees, holding his head, with a mortified expression on his face.

" AAAAAAAA!!" Jon's voice could be heard echoing throughout, and the pain could be felt from his cries.

Melissa and the other party members, with open eyes and mouths wide open, showed a worried look at the situation. But they all wonder what is causing him to scream out like that. Was it his injuries opening up due to moving around too much, or was it that glowing light that appeared on his body. 

A beeping sound could be heard from his phone. Warning: Low Mana!!!

Topic:《Ground lizard defeated (1/2)》

The player has defeated the ground lizard, and he and his party will receive experience points. The experience point will even be shared, along with the additional bonus from the quest.

Each party member was rewarded with 30 experience points.

Receive 5 dungeon credits. 

Player Jonathan has gained a level.

The player is now at Level 5.

Both health and mana have been restored.

Jon signed in relief as he wiped the sweat from his face. He stood up and watched the last ground lizard hide underground. It wasn't fully submerged underground yet; its tail and rear were still exposed, flapping around.

Jon stretched his hands out, trying to grab the creature's tail, but it was too late.  Not too soon after, the ground shook violently, causing the small rock to bounce up and down. They all know the beast is near by, trying to execute a surprise attack tactic.

Almost all of the fighters seem to be weak, either mentally or physically. Weapons are worn out or either lost, and their bodies and clothes are all scuffed up.

Leo and Jon both grouped up together, and they all took a ready stance for combat. Leo's eyes lit up green once again, and his eyes were also doting all over, searching. "Where can that little bastard be?" The ground continues to rumble beneath their feet.

Leo, who was still searching for ground lizards, became earnest as he focused intensely. But all his map shows is the lizard moving around in a circle.

Just like a wack-a-mole game, the creature pops out from one of the various holes among them. It surprised Leo, and everybody was shocked upon seeing it jump right at them.

With a piercing metallic clang, Jon deflected the savage attack as the creature pushed forward, its claws slicing through the air with fatal speed. The force of the impact sent shudders up Jon's arm, but he did not back down; his eyes fixed fiercely on the creature's glowing, predatory gaze.

The monster quickly dropped back underground again, and Jon swiftly grabbed hold of its tail before it fully submerged. The roughness of the scales started to cause friction on Jon's hands; it felt like rope burn. The pain started to become too much, so Jon let it go. "Ah crap ... this isn't good." The redness of Jon's hands was clearly visible.

Leo looks intensely again while his eyes glow green. "This Rassclat monster a behaving too bright; is movement becoming unpredictable now?" The ground was continuously quaking while the beast dug around beneath.
