En 1892 la condesa Anastasia y la Princesa Pauline se batieron en duelo debido a una discusión sobre arreglos florales. El duelo se suponia seria llevado a cabo en secreto y sin hombres para que no vieran a las mujeres desnudas, ya que la arbitro quien tambien era médico aconsejó que se quitaran la ropa para evitar que una herida se infecte con restos de ropa.
Ninguna fue declarada ganadora.
