Andre woke up and got himself ready before heading to the kitchen table, where he saw his grandma already getting breakfast ready. "Good morning, baby," She says, making some fluffy pancakes. "Morning, Grandma," Andre says, having a seat at the table "Cody's still sleeping, so if you could just box his food up if you don't mind," he says, looking over at the door to the guest room Grandma Middleton laughs before saying "Of course, I gotta make sure both my babies eat." Andre digs into his breakfast. As he finishes up, he hears his phone ring and sees it's a number he doesn't know He answers it while taking a sip of coffee "Hello?" "Hello, is this Andre? It's Nia," Andre is happy to hear from her but a little confused. "Hey, nice to hear from you, but how did you get my number?". "Uh, Sorry, but I dug it up. I realize, apologizing after the fact, I was trying to contact Cody, but I'm already guessing he is....". "Sleep," The two say at the same time they both laugh at their timing. "But more importantly, I got your number to tell you that you two need to swing by to pick up your payment for last night's mission, so swing by as soon as possible," "I'll wake up Cody now and head there right away." Andre says "Alright, thanks. See you soon," Nia says as she hangs up on her end. "That was one of your new coworkers, huh?" Grandma Middleton said right after Andre was done after the call. "Yeah, I met her yesterday." he says with a smile. "Well, that's good to hear, baby. Go on and get Cody; I know you're busy. " Andre takes off into the back room to find a wide-awake Cody doodling on his sketch pad while shirtless. "Really, dude?" Andre says, looking at him with a disappointed face Cody broke out of his artistic trance to look up at Andre. "Oh, what up, Dre?" Cody says, putting his sketch pad down "Nia gave you a call...that you missed; she called me to let you know to come in for our check." Cody checked his phone to see three missed calls. "Oh...dang, we will head out as soon as I'm out.". About 15 minutes later, Andre watches Cody come out. "Ok, Grandma, we are going to head to work now." "Well, alright, babies, all don't be afraid to visit soon, you hear?" she says, hugging the young men and kissing their foreheads. "Got it, Grandma. Love you, too." After saying their goodbyes, the boys head out, making their way back to the office building; upon parking, Andre looks at Cody. "Say, before you bring us back to the Spirit Side, let me talk to my boss and put in my notice." Cody gives him a strange look in response "Why didn't you just call them to do that?" "That's like one of the most unprofessional things you can do," Andre says back as he exits the car. "Oooh, so professional," Cody says in a mocking tone. After taking care of business, Andre comes back out, giving the thumbs up; Cody makes the sign as the two teleport into the Spirit Side. Upon entering, the two are immediately met with a hug from Dzzy. "It's good to see you guys again; I'm happy you decided to join the team, Andre." her face beamed, looking up at the young men. "Oh, uhh, Glad to be here, thanks," Andre said, caught off guard by the surprise affection. Cody chuckles in response, "Good seeing you too, Dzzy." The sound of the office door opening was heard. Nia had just gotten out of Leon's office, "Oh, you guys are finally here; Mr. Davis gave us our mission; there is a report about a Lost One in the tunne over by Roger's Avenue." Leon comes through the door right behind her. "Yo, so I've got a mission for you guys." "Nia told us already," the three young adults say in unison. Leon sighs defeatedly, hanging his head. "Damm it". Nia looks at him with a slightly apologetic face. "I didn't think it was so important to you; I haven't given the details yet, though," Leon immediately raises with a serious demeanor. "The reports say that The Lost One has the shape of a Wolf with what appears to be Knives embedded into itself. It's been attacking at random. We managed to send out warnings to keep innocent spirits away, so you should have plenty of space to manage a necessary exorcism," He said, looking very proud of himself. "Why does he look so proud?" Andre thought to himself. Nia walked over and whispered to Andre, "He's usually like this; you'll get used to it." Andre nods in response, "Got it."
"I can hear you, you know....just be careful out there." As the group heads of Nia speak up, "We are taking your van as per usual, Cody." Cody gives a peace sign In response, "Ok. Still, I drove here, so I don't wanna drive again," Andre sighs, "Your laziness astounds me, dude" "how about you drive, Nia?" Cody says passing off the job. "Ooh, I wanna drive. I got it," Dzzy says excitedly. "No Shot!" Nia and Cody say in unison at the idea; Nia takes the keys as everyone piles into the van and they head off parking near a long tunnel. The group gets out and slowly approaches the tunnel. Andre and Nia take the front while Cody ride in the back Dzzy takes the back. The group all summoned their Side Spirits prior to entering the tunnel. Upon entering, the sound of a menacing growl could be heard, and at the end of said tunnel, being backed within the light, was a jet black wolf foaming from its mouth, its big yellow eyes filled with unbridled rage; the creature had knives deep in its back fully embedded in its skin less like it was stabbed more like it it was apart of its fur. Dzzy speaks briefly "Good thing we came here while the sun was still out. This would be terrifying at night." She shudders at the thought; Cody agrees, "Yeah, you can say that again." The Wolf rushes at the group with blistering speed, Its embedded knives slighltly rattling within its skin as it rushes at full speed, looking to attack.
