Ophelia found a slow and relaxed pace, she saw no reason to rush, as she moved she peppered Darius's face with kisses once again. Breathy purrs rumbled out of Darius more openly, it was so endearing to see the omega trust her enough to relax that much. Ophelia wanted them even if only this once, to have this much together. This soft sweetness in the quiet of the night... Whether attraction between them would continue after this didn't matter. She wanted just for a moment for the rest of the world to melt away and for them to be the only two left.
The bed creaked softly under them, the soft shuffling of them together. Darius's legs rested easily on her hips. His lips parted in quiet pleasure, and the two of them stared watching each other. His panting increased as Ophelia moved faster. She felt his grip on her strengthen, both of their bodies tensed up. It was by no means a rapid rut, but it was deep and there was power behind each movement.
Heat burned steadily between them; hot breathy kisses were exchanged. Ophelia was sure they looked like lovers having a passionate exchange after a long time. Even though this was the first time they were together. Fingers interlaced as Ophelia moved, she felt her knot form fully now. Swollen and twitching, she was so close to her end. From previous experience, Ophelia had, she knew that omegas didn't want her to knot into them. So, she attempted to move away from Darius, and within seconds she was flipped over onto her back.
The shock of suddenly being on her back took Ophelia just a moment to process what was going on. Her eyes widened before she understood what happened, she knew just from earlier that Darius was strong... But... He was also faster than expected too. Darius chuckled softly seeing her surprised expression, Ophelia shifted watching him slide back onto her. "Hahhh..." He breathed with delight. A pleased smile was on his face, "Reeds." He spoke in a hushed tone, "It's a perfect fit." he teased quietly. Yet again referencing the sheath comment she had made. Ophelia chuckled trying to sit up to kiss him but he pushed her back down.
"It's best if you stay where you are Reeds." He purred running his hands across Ophelia's chest. He grasped her breasts with gentle yet firm grips before releasing them. "You're not going anywhere." He moved his hands resting them on his thighs. Seeing the domineering look on Darius's face, Ophelia hated to admit it but she found that incredibly arousing. "Okay." She agreed with a smile. "Good girl." Darius tapped her nose pleased.
"Now that I've accommodated you enough..." Darius purred grabbing one of her hands and lifting it to his lips. "It's time for the real fun to begin." He murmured kissing her knuckle. "If you wanted on top you could've just said something." Ophelia retorted, "Now where's the fun in that Reeds?" Darius replied with mirth dancing in his eyes.
Steadily he moved, whines and moans of pleasure left Darius's lips. Ophelia struggled to hold back, and Darius thrust down much more forcefully. He didn't say anything but the two of them looked at each other. Somewhere it became a competition... Ophelia looked at the pert erect member leaking on Darius as he moved. "That looks like it hurts." She remarked with a snide tone despite her breathlessness, "I'm fine." Darius spoke in a wobbly voice.
Drool pooled at his lips, he winced looking like he was close. His nipples were taut and hard on his chest and there was a flush to his cheeks. He was working hard to get the knot inside of him while also trying not to get there beforehand.
Ophelia shifted going to reach for Darius, but he pinned her under him. It was a quick and sharp movement. Ophelia could tell then the omega man would be a force to be reckoned with in battle just from the reaction time alone. "No cheating." He huffed. Ophelia smiled innocently enough at him; the omega eyed her. "You seem like you want me to go first." She teased, "Are you wanting me to fill you up so you can finish?" She asked lowly eying him with a smoldering expression, Darius's eyes widened, and he covered her mouth with both of his hands. Ophelia took the chance and flipped him over on his back.
"Commander." She said in a low sultry tone, "I think you'll find I'm willing to do a lot of things if you just ask nicely." She said kissing his hands one at a time. She watched as a darker flush formed on Darius's face and she smiled. She moved more roughly this time; it didn't take much before she slid inside him with her knot.
Darius bit his lip arching his back, he clamped down on Ophelia inside. Ophelia let out a moan and relaxed letting herself release into him, warmth flooding inside of Darius from Ophelia. His lower half nursed at her trying to suck in as much as possible. She saw that he released onto himself, grabbing a nearby rag. Ophelia cleaned him off then she sighed resting against him, Darius lay there huffing softly. As they lay there in the golden glow after, Ophelia saw Darius's eyes narrow.
"Cheater." He accused, "That's not nice." Ophelia replied with a smile, "We're going again." Darius declared flipping Ophelia under him. "Commander it's late." She argued, "We should rest." She spoke just as Darius captured her lips silencing her.
His tongue flitted into her mouth; Ophelia kissed back feeling a soft rumble in the back of her throat. The noise was involuntary but not unpleasant. Darius then pulled away and smiled at her, "If I wanted to rest." He said quietly, "I wouldn't have torn your tent down." He mumbled kissing her again.
Darius kept Ophelia up for most of that night. The candle that sat on the crate near Darius's bed burned out before they settled down for the night. As they rested laying near each other, legs tangled together and arms around each other. Ophelia rubbed Darius's back listening to the constant hum of purring rumbling out of him. The commander didn't even try to hide the noise now. He also didn't even seem the least bit embarrassed anymore.
Ophelia let out a soft sigh feeling exhausted as her eyes closed listening to that low hum come from Darius. As the sun slowly rose over the distant mountains near the camp. It had been hard to see the results of their activities last night when the candle finally went out drowning in a puddle of wax. Darius's bedding was strewn throughout the tent, a pillow laid on the floor near his desk soaked in a bottle of spilled ink that had been accidentally knocked over sometime last night.
Sheets hung off the bed while Ophelia and Darius were tangled up together under the remaining blanket. Darius's pale neck was littered with red hickeys from Ophelia's work. Ophelia's shoulders sported a couple of bite marks from Darius. Darius's hair stuck out every which way as did Ophelia's. Darius had his face buried under Ophelia's chin fast asleep, sleeping so deeply that soft snores came from him.
Ophelia slept just as deeply with her face buried in the top of Darius's head. She was exhausted after last night with Darius. Without the last few months of training with Lionel, it was clear that she wouldn't have been able to keep up with Darius's stamina or she would've died trying. But thankfully she managed to keep up although just barely.
The morning rays reached Darius's tent as the two slept. Ophelia was stirred out of her slumber, groaning softly Ophelia blearily opened her eyes noticing the sun rising outside of the tent. Her grip on Darius tightened as she grumbled feeling half asleep burying her face in his hair again. Perhaps the omega had begun to awake as well because a quiet purr rumbled out of him for a couple of moments before turning back into snores.
By the time Ophelia and Darius woke up, the camp was up and running. Everyone went around packing their things getting ready to move the camp and continue to march forward toward Clover. Ophelia woke up first sitting up and running her fingers through her hair. Her vision was blurry for a moment causing her to wince. Rubbing her face Ophelia looked around realizing where she was.
Feeling warmth clinging to her, Ophelia looked down and saw Darius just barely sleeping with his arms around her neck and his head leaning against her shoulder. That's right... Ophelia remembered just then she had sex with the commander. She remembered everything they had done last night slowly still feeling exhausted. A smile formed on her lips, it was fun though. She had to admit to herself she enjoyed being together with Darius like that.
Ophelia reached her hand to Darius and smoothed out his hair. He began to stir groaning softly and moving closer. "Commander." Ophelia called, "Hmmm Reeds." Darius grumbled out a reply in response. "I didn't say we were finished." he huffed in his sleep, his words slurred slightly from his sleeping state. Ophelia chuckled softly, he said something similar before passing out last night. "Commander it's morning." Ophelia nudged him, Darius had been drooling on her shoulder when his eyes fluttered open. "What?" he asked looking dazed. "It's morning." Ophelia repeated, she glanced towards the flap of the tent, "Actually it looks like it's almost afternoon." She added correcting herself.
Darius stared at her blearily, "Please it's barely even sunrise-." He tried to argue before looking at the flap of the tent. Darius sat there quietly for a moment and then looked at Ophelia. "What kind of monster are you?" he asked, "Okay rude," Ophelia replied offended, Darius slipped out of bed looking for his clothes. "I've woken up at six am for the last two years I've been on this campaign," Darius explained grabbing his pants and slipping them on. "Rain or shine like clockwork I've been up by six am!" He announced hopping a bit to get his legs through. As he got dressed Ophelia sat up leaning her head against her propped-up knee finding the sight amusing.
"No one's been able to cause me to oversleep before." He added fastening them as he glanced over at Ophelia. The alpha woman stared at him and smirked, "Don't look so proud of yourself." Darius sneered with a slight pout. Ophelia's smirk widened quietly in response, and Darius rolled his eyes. "Get dressed Reeds!" He demanded before spotting the pillow soaked with ink. "Damnit," he swore annoyed.
Ophelia got out of bed, "Someone wanted to keep going." Ophelia chided finding her pants and slipping them on. "You let me," Darius replied snidely as Ophelia found her chest bindings putting them on. "I'd be an idiot if I said no." Ophelia retorted. "Someone has to be reasonable here Reeds." Darius argued, "I feel like I've created an image with you that I can't live up to." Ophelia deadpanned slipping her tunic on. "Where's my hair tie?" She asked, "Here." Darius handed her it grabbing it from the desk.
Ophelia then dug through her bag setting her gloves to the side as she pulled out her hairbrush and brushed out her hair. Darius who managed to find his tunic slipped it on and watched her for a moment. Ophelia pulled her hair back and noticed Darius staring. "What?" She asked, "Nothing." He replied with a slight smile on his lips. Ophelia raised her eyebrows before continuing to get dressed. Packing her hairbrush away she grabbed her boots and bag and walked over to the bed putting her boots back on. Darius managed to locate his own hair brush and was in the middle of straightening out his hair.
Fastening her boots, Ophelia gave herself a once over making sure there wasn't anything off about her outfit. Feeling satisfied she spotted Darius's boots near her and decided to pick them up carrying them over to him. Darius had gotten distracted by some paperwork he spotted and was reading through it while brushing his hair.
Ophelia walked over with his boots in hand, "Commander." She called getting his attention, he looked at her and then spotted his boots. "Oh thanks," he said surprised. "Welcome," Ophelia replied taking his brush from him. Darius then reached over picking fuzz off of her tunic. Darius sat down in his chair putting on his boots while still reading through the papers. Ophelia stood behind him, not finding anything better to do decided to brush out his hair a little bit. It just took a couple of swipes before Darius's hair was smooth. Setting his brush down, Ophelia then checked herself out again and felt satisfied. "I'm going to head on out then while everyone is still busy." Ophelia announced, "Okay." Darius replied absentmindedly reading through the paper still.
Unoffended Ophelia then headed towards the tent flap, then Darius spoke up before she stepped out. "Aren't you forgetting something?" Darius questioned, Ophelia, paused and turned to face him feeling confused. She stared at Darius who raised an eyebrow with an amused smile on his lips. Ophelia thought about it for a moment. "Oh right!" She suddenly realized making her way over to Darius who was still sitting at his desk. Darius stared at her as she approached looking surprised for some reason. Ophelia then leaned down kissing his lips, "I had fun." She told him as she pulled away. Darius sat there for a moment looking surprised.
"uh... I did too." he managed to reply, Ophelia smiled at him before turning and leaving. Because everyone dashing around to pack away the camp, Ophelia managed to sneak away from Darius's tent without notice.
It was a bit of a rush packing her things and Ophelia hoped no one noticed the flowery smell that lingered on her from Darius. After everything was packed the army began marching continuing on their path. Ophelia feeling exhausted clearly looked like she had been up for most of the night. Which she had thanks to a certain commander. As they marched Ophelia overheard from other soldiers about the successful midnight raid from Duval's troop.
The platoons that had been stationed there were wiped out allowing the Imperial army to march further than before. The plan, as Ophelia understood it was to steadily march up Spade territory and take Clover. It had to be done this way to rid Spade of Snowfel forces along the way to re-establish the borders.
The way to Clover had rough roads and was full of mountains and hills. Usually, this wouldn't be a problem for Ophelia. But in her exhausted state, she managed to keep up, although she was lagging behind. Officer Spencer Spade had made his way back to her as they marched, at first his face seemed angry but turned into a concerned look once he saw the exhaustion on Ophelia's face.
"Ophelia, where were you earlier? You missed roll call." He questioned, it was only natural that Spencer would question this, out of all the trouble Ophelia had caused she almost never missed roll call. Ophelia looked between Spencer and the back of Darius up front riding on his horse. She racked her brain for an excuse. Seeing a nearby tree line Ophelia blurted out, "I was planting a tree."
