i wont lie rex and hoklen's little scenes r definitely very fun for me to write. they both are very interesting and playing with young characters is fun because considering the genres i write they're never just normal kids they always have some fucking past or osmething.
and extra, with the way the world is here, they went through something traumatic to end up where they are. so they're interesting critters. have i specifically stated that rex and kyle are not biologically related? their connection will be shown more later, but yeah, kyle took hold of rex's "soul" of sorts and thats why rex went to the inbetween, not particularly because he had that strong of a will to live. maybe that's something good, considering how headstrong the rest of the people here are.
even though rex had a bit of time to get to know some people before kyle woke up from his bedrest he didn't get to nor wanted to meet every single person there. he is still quite new and doesn't understand most of what is going on. he is taking it pretty well though.
as dialouge states, since kyle ended up winning that last debate, hoklen was assigned the job of embassador to other galaxies. he's been here a while but peopel dont mature their brain he's still like, 11. cancel xu for child labour!!!
