The woman's eyes adjusted, finally able to see clearly. The man in front of her was not her husband. This man had a darker complexion, much curlier hair, clear blue eyes, and a broad build. She would even go as far as to describe his surprised expression when he saw her as soft. The woman had never seen a man such as this that she would use the word beautiful to describe him.
Nyssa stayed at the doorway as he called out, "Fiore, she's awake". Nyssa smiled at the woman and stepped out. The woman could hear little rapid steps approaching. They then stopped at the door and a tiny frame slowly peeked inside. Long flowing black curls, a tanned complexion, and the most beautiful golden eyes, a beautiful child smiling at her.  Who would of guessed such a lovely child could exist? She was exactly how she imagined her child would look, down to the last detail on her face. The woman gave a smile full of hope at the vision she was presented with.
Fiore felt awkward as the woman saw her with glittering eyes, "How are you feeling, it looks like your fever has gone down". Fiore approached, placing her hand on her face, "What's your name?".The woman felt completely at ease as she answered, "My name is Aya". As she basked in the warmth, she began to cry as she remembered her village. "What's wrong?", Fiore asked. The woman tried to choke back the tears as she tried to form the words, "My village was attacked, my husband was protecting me... don't think he survived".Fiore stayed silent, unable to form a good response in her head. The only thing she could do was hold the crying woman as she breastfed the child. Fiore's presence was enough to cull the worry, but a sudden crash threw the silence away.
"Hey! Where the hell is she?!", angry voices screeched from the living room as Fiore heard a yelp from her father. Aya shook in place as she recognized that voice, and the newborn began to cry. Fiore quickly ran toward the brutish screams and locked the door behind her.

Through the hall, she swiftly sneaked. She saw her father in trouble and decided to draw attention to herself, stepping into the line view. Three men caked in snow from the raging blizzard huffing angrily as one pinned down her father, his eyes almost hungry. Nyssa's attention darted to Fiore as he screamed at her, "GET OUT OF HERE! Fiore ignored it and thought back to one of her mother's diaries.
When someone lays eyes on her, they will see what they want to see, something that they want, that completes them, or are afraid to admit to themselves. Fiore relaxed as she gave her best smile, her arms opened wide, and she waited as all eyes were on her.
The three men stopped what they were doing, their eyes slowly drawn to her, and gawked at the being in front of them. A hulking man presumed the leader, froze with despair at the child in front of him. Blonde pigtails, gray eyes, and a missing front tooth visible through the smile. "How can this be? My child...how are you... you've been bedridden for almost a year", tears formed in his eyes as he knelt, a smile forming on his face. "Misael!", the bearded one pinning down Nyssa, called out to the leader, "What are you doing, get away from her".
The third one stared at the beautiful being in front of them, shining like gold, pure and innocent, too precious to be seen by others. Fiore's eyes shifted towards him, her demeanor beckoning him to look at her more. He needed to burn the image into his mind so no one else could have her. He swiftly pulled out his swords and ran to cut her down. His blade sliced through the air aiming at her head, but was promptly stopped by the leader,  Misael.  "What is blazes are you doing, Fern!". Misael's voice boomed with bass. Fern had a crazed look in his eye only fixated on attacking Fiore. Misael managed to overpower Fern, pushing him down and yelling for the bearded man, "Louie, leave that man be and get your brother!".
Louie unpinned Nyssa, but instead of following orders, he aimed his blade toward Fiore. Misael parried, angered at the betrayal, "Louie, that is my child, your Goddaughter. Have you gone mad!". Misael's voice boomed once more, but his voice began to fizzle out as fast as it began. He felt a burning pain on his side and as he looked over, he saw Fern's blade embedded at his side. Fern only got closer and the blades were only getting deeper, almost protruding from the other side. With the last bit of his strength, Misael pushed Louie back, causing him to hit his head. His attention was then quick to turn to Fern and with a a swift horizontal cut, he beheaded Fern in a swift slash. His head rolled onto the floor knocking over a small table.
Misael knelt once more as he reached out to the being he thought was his child. His blood seeped out and he began to remember a tiny hand reaching out to him. His wife died in childbirth and what she left was a frail child that looked just like her. But the days were happy, then there was rain, then there was the plague, and then there was death. His frail child was on the brink of death right in front of him. Trying to find a cure, many lands were invaded, until finally rumors of a woman who could heal with a touch appeared. The rumor was then found to be false, and the village in the rumor mentioned was ransacked. The woman that was mentioned was hunted down and now he was left in front of a vision of health. Deep down he knew this wasn't his daughter, but he couldn't contain his tears as he saw her. He was glad, this was the last thing he saw before his head slumped over, hitting the ground.
Blood stained the carpets and the men's white fur coats. Fiore took in the scene, but she felt alarmed she didn't feel anything seeing this. There was no pity like when she saw the wolf or the woman. The only thing she could feel slowly arising on top was an eerie sense of disgust, and that scared her. As she processed, the last man left alive slowly regained his conscience, using his blade to pull himself up.

Louie felt his head spin as he pulled himself up. He gripped his sword and took a stance, but became distracted by the carnage, "What did you do to them", he growled. Nyssa stood in front of his daughter, also brandishing a knife aimed at the bearded man. His angered demeanor contrasted with the child's nonchalant behavior. She was looking right at Louie, probing, reaching deep to his center, "Stop it, stop doing that", his voice shook as he fought to see what was truly in front of him. Fiore looked at the amount of blood on the floor and thought about the time it would take to clean it all up. Would it leave a stain? She shook her head, wanting the thought to leave her.
She looked back at the unstable man, and she spoke softly as she approached him, "Forgive me, this was not my intended outcome. I cannot control what other people see. But, I see you are fighting it. Louie, was it? Do you know why you can fight it off?". Louie was confused by the question, "What? No, why?", Fiore gave a perplexed look, "Oh, I didn't mean it in the way that I had the answer. I was asking a genuine question". Lousie became enraged at Fiore's attitude, his hands began to shake as he mustered the strength to thrust forward. Attempting to attack, he stopped, his sword stuck in the air and his body refusing to listen to him. As he looked at his hand and realized what was impeding his movements. Coiling around him were vines and branches that were cutting into his skin, he grunted as blood seeped from his wrist and ankles, the plants digging deeper.
Fiore stopped the plants, now standing in front of him trying to get answers, "I'm sorry, but I need to know what's happening, can you tell me why you were attacking the village nearby?", she spoke with sincerity. Nyssa intervened as he saw his child become too serious, "Fiore, I think it's time I take this man out of the house. You shouldn't burden yourself with the outside world". Fiore kept her eyes on the man in front of her, stopping her father, "I brought this on us, Father. I have to see this through".
Louie looked away but thought about what he had just seen. That monster was indeed a child, and possibly a sheltered one. He decided to taunt the child. He kept his eyes closed but his mind was still fighting him, "I'll tell you everything you want to know if you can heal the sick". Fiore's worry faded her thoughts in disarray. Interacting with others was exhausting, she was beginning to think her isolation was not the best decision her mother had made, but she needed little to know he was asking for something he thought impossible.
Fiore lifted her hand and entwined the dead bodies and the head, dragging them away with Louie beside them. She made her way outside and destroyed the door lock behind her. Nyssa banged on the door trying to tear it down. The Blizzard was still raging, she couldn't feel it but Louie could. The air felt like needles in his eyes and his body shivered down to the bone, but the cold struck him through as Fiore removed his fur coat. It stung, the very air felt like knives on his skin, his very organs shifting to find warmth. Fiores face beamed in his direction as he knelt, looking up at her. "I honestly don't know if I can heal the sick, but if I show you what I can do, I think it would be best for both of us". Louie thought it was the end for him, but, he felt a sudden shift, and now, he couldn't take his eyes off her.
Fiore exhaled, her hands extended in front of her. She could feel life dormant under her, screaming to meet her once again. She began to chant, perhaps a dead language, and a circle of light with runes unfamiliar to him, surrounded her and Louie. He was warmly engulfed in her light, his wounds even healed, and his mind clear to what he was about to witness. She began to part her hands and a burst of energy followed. The blizzard stopped with a clap of thunder, and as the curtain lifted, luscious greenery replaced it. A plane of golden wheat bloomed as trees more vibrant than he had ever seen followed. Flowers erupted with colors he could never imagine, they swayed as if to say hello to her.
Louie looked up at the dazzling being in front of him, he had only heard of this kind of power in passing, many doubting them as truth. Yet he had only heard of one kind of being able to achieve such a feat, was this what people called a Celestial?
Fiore smiled at him, "Now, if you tell me, maybe I can make a miracle happen".
