"The Hazel Eyes" is a story I wrote along with other short stories for a call for Spanish-speaking writers. At first I did it just for fun, and the people who contacted me were interested, so those stories were selected to be published through their site. So, I'm very happy with this opportunity. I've also published some of them on my Wattpad and I hope to translate them into English at some point.

The reason I chose hazel is because of its rarity. It is quite difficult to find a person who has this eye color and it has a certain symbolism, they are associated with heightened psychic abilities and a strong connection to the spiritual.

On the other hand, and inspired by JeeJee's thoughts, I also wanted to include a little romantic scene between Elisa and her editor, Nestor. And why not, for the fans of Benxa (Idyll in its Decline), here is our know-it-all, who was unwittingly saved from being attacked by a demon. :-P

First, the story of hazel eyes is amazing! Delightful and suspenseful, and creepy, is the only way I can think of describing the feeling! xD. Hazel eyes is really the stuff from nightmares! And I love the way you've introduced the story to us, to later show Elisa and Nestor at the end! My fave couple!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️ Those blushes are way too cute! don't worry Elisa, you're his ideal partner!! I'm glad you were inspired to do something with them (my romance vein is VERY biased, as you know, so I'll always be rooting for those two). And to see Benxa again was so unexpected!! I literally went "Awww, Benxa!!!" xDDD. and little Paymon, too!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
