Ufff so much to unpack here, I noticed the not so healthy relationships here like yikes 😬 where do I begin?!
The fact that even after aaalll these years Demeter still is so Ehm controlling? over protective? possessive? With Persephone her ADULT daughter that she even speak for her, no wonder Persephone finds way to be a little petty with her, having her as a mother must be exhausting 😅
And the whole Zeus and Hera thing... Jesus it's so sad, they do even still love each other? Like I don't know even just care a little as friends? I mean if many extra partners aren't the problem (I'm assuming cuz for your art it's seem that Hera have been also having fun, good for her, and even between gods have fun with each other yet their marriages are happy) because I think the problem is respect and communication more for Zeus part.
I once heard a therapist saying that many times some couples fail not because they stopped being lovers but because they stopped being friends.
Sure Hera can be stubborn and very prideful but with a partner like Zeus can you blame her? And the thing with the children of Zeus's lovers... I don't know if it's still canon but yeah, both aren't the best people... still I think it would be nice to maybe just maybe make it work, I have seen couple WORSE that Zeus and Hera that actually did the work and have a happy marriage now, but I say it mostly for Hera's sake, because that thing she says about thinking of herself as boring, hurt me a lot, her "boring" and "quiet" behavior is clearly a sigh of deep hurt and loneliness.
And finally Psyche 😢 oh baby... This is your special day with your beloved and it is the special day of Eros too, I'm so sad right now... She's still so scared of Aphrodite and is not fair, I don't know why they still have to put out with her brattiness? Or anyone bad aptitude? It's a gods thing or it's just they are so used to this shitty family dynamic that they don't even try to change it?
