Chapter 9.

Stolen kisses.

Harrison did nothing, but mock her, letting out a guttural laugh from him. She wanted to take two steps back, but one of his hands was hugging her waist. The night was young and their parents hadn't even appeared.

They had been left alone to let themselves flow. 

He was waiting for her to think that she might shudder in his arms, but it seemed that the situation wasn't disturbing her one bit, not even his frightening appearance.

Their eyes connected all the time and as he got a little closer to her face, she tried to memorize each of his scars, concentrating on the details and waiting for his reaction, but there was none.

He had to admit it, the girl had guts, and when their lips were about to touch, he remarked to her: I wonder if you really are as calm and unruffled as you seem or if it's all an act on your part, because if you're pretending you're pretty good at it; to which she replied in the same tone: I don't need to pretend, your looks don't scare me, to which he said: then prove it, show me that you're not afraid and I'll believe you: so it was that she did not hesitate and ended up joining their lips in a delicate and soft kiss, a kiss that was reciprocated by the other side.

 And just as that kiss was happening, both Leo and Yako came in to witness it, and seeing that both seemed to get along very well, Yako began to clap, breaking the bubble in which the couple was in order to hear him say: bravo, bravo, I didn't think that both of them would fit so well from the first time, but definitely her beauty is on par with his strength.

So Leo added: I can deduce that that kiss has been the official seal for both of them, there is no longer any doubt that they will be married at the end of the year.

Suddenly Kate had lost her courage, perhaps it was because she was surrounded by more people and Harrison could read it in her body language, because her ears had turned red from feeling intimidated by the others, so Harrison simply commented: I suppose that a dinner is no longer necessary, we all understand each other and we know what each one's position is, so I will leave.

Yako approached and said goodbye to the girl kissing one of her hands and saying welcome to the family.

Seeing that, both, the father and the son were disappearing from his sight.

Leo congratulated her and said: ¿Do you see, sleeping beauty, if you listen to me, everything will work out better?, You have earned more than a little star and handing her an envelope in her hands, she opened it immediately and it was a photo of her mother sleeping, she asked him where she was and he told her to remember that she had to follow the instructions from beginning to end…
