This is a gentle reminder to everyone to be kinder to yourselves and to celebrate the small wins. Not every day has to be "productive". Plans don't always work out.
And with IH, plans often don't so...let's get the pressure off and start with just One Single Thing. Get one thing today done, be it -getting up, feeding a pet, feeding yourself, sending a text message or email, or literally anything.
And after that, every single task you get done is a BONUS to be celebrated.
It will take a long while to learn this model and unlearn the ableist, capitalist hellscape bull that is "productivity above health", but once you get closer and closer to it...you will feel so much better when you get just one single thing done.
My today's single thing is posting this comic. It is task no.1.
Once I get this done, I will do my best to share it around and celebrate every single thing about it - because you know what, this is hard. I am really sleepy and have a migraine too, but I want to do this despite IH pushing me down.
And man, I will be happy about my One Thing.
