Mattias and Viola were transported to a field near a big pond, it almost seemed to be out in the middle of nowhere.
‘Where the hell are we?!’ Mattias demanded, looking around the area. ‘I don’t see her anywhere.
‘The target should be nearby’ said Katrine ‘She likes to go fishing every once in a while, with just two bodyguards around her.
‘Yeah, OK’
‘All right, I have to get going now, see you two later!’ Katrine vanished into thin air.
‘What the hell?! I could really do with her help right now!’ yelled Viola. Mattias didn’t answer her. Instead, he said:
‘Why are you wearing white on a day like this? Don’t you think you stand out a bit too much?’
‘Oh shut up will you?! I’ll dress however the hell I want! Now where are those assholes?’ she was looking around, at a very far point at the right end of the pond, were two armoured men and Patricia. Three white horses where nearby ‘There they are, Mattias’
‘Right’
‘There’s a little shed near where those horses are. Perhaps you can lure her there?’
‘Perhaps you could lure the guards there? Maybe you could…’
‘Oh, shut up you!’
‘It’s your job, Viola’ she sighed and said:
‘Go to hell’
‘Aren’t we already there?’
‘I guess so’ she sighed again ‘My idea was for you to lure that little bitch into the shed and you set fire to it. I can light a torch for you. I can also send her to sleep if you like’
‘Yeah, let’s do that’ Viola went over to the side of the pond walking around in such a way that she couldn’t be seen. Mattias walked not too far behind her. When she was somewhat in view, she walked close to the guards.
‘Hey handsome guys! You want some of this?!’ she went inside of the barn, with the two of them following her in. They did so in quite a nonchalant fashion. As that happened, Mattias walked over to Patricia, she was using a fishing rod. She gasped the moment she saw him.
‘Mattias? Is that you?’
‘Oh god!’ he muttered, he then took a deep breath. Patricia put her rod down and walked up to him. She looked pretty nervous.
‘We’ve been looking all over for you, where have you been?’ her breathing got more and more out of control ‘Answer me, Mattias!’ Mattias was silent, he was just gazing at her. A tear started to roll down his face. ‘What’s wrong? No, forget it! Something’s seriously wrong, I can feel it! Where did my guards go?! Please, tell me!’ Viola was behind her, her hair and the rest of her body were completely wet. She cast a spell on her, putting her to sleep.
‘There you go, Mattias! Figured I had to drag you out of this awkward conversation’ she then picked Patricia up ‘God, she’s heavier than she looks! Will you give me a hand?’
‘OK’ the two were then carrying Patricia, she was placed inside of the barn. Both of the guards were there, asleep. She then closed the doors and lit a torch, giving it to Mattias.
‘Go on Mattias, it’s now or never!’ Mattias was holding on the torch, he barely moved at all.
‘Stop!’ shouted a female voice. It was Katrine. ‘Everything’s sorted! You don’t have to kill her now, I promise you!’ Viola started glaring at her.
‘Where the bloody hell have you been?!’ Katrine put out the fire of the torch using what appeared to be an ice spell. She grabbed it off Mattias and threw it away.
‘We’re going back to Kyros’s lair, if you’re caught here we’re all in trouble’
‘Fine!’ the two surrounded her and they disappeared.
Laying on his deathbed due to a terminal illness, Mattias gets greeted by a mysterious woman. His life is saved, but at a cost: he is now a pawn of the underworld.
