"It's all your fault, Max," Frost said under his breath after he had spent hours punching the cave wall and uttering the harsh words he had hurled at his former subordinate.
His memory brought him back to the time when he had assaulted Zero, one of the Ultra who helped Max to expose his abusive treatment to Max. The memory seemed to make the fire of hatred in him grow bigger and burn his common sense.
Meanwhile, in the Land of Light, Zero was still thinking about the incident months ago when Frost had suddenly attacked him and Zett.
Months before...,
Zero was training Zett on Planet A-1163. In the middle of the training, Zero had sensed something coming towards them.
"Zett, watch out!"
With his reflexes, he immediately pushed Zett to avoid the unexpected attack.
"Zett, are you okay?" asked Zero to make sure that Zett was okay.
Zett was still half-shocked from Zero suddenly pushing his body as well as the unexpected attack, but he soon came to his senses from the shock.
"I'm fine, Shishou," Zett replied. "But what was that just now?"
Zero did not answer Zett's question and his attention was instead on the attacker who had delivered the surprise attack.
"I knew it was you."
Frost only chuckled. "I didn't come to beg or talk to you, Zero. My business is not with you," Frost said as she crossed her arms.
Zero clenched his hands into fists. Seeing Frost in front of him reminded him of a memory he should have forgotten.
"You still want to bother Max? Can't you just let him be happy? He's already happy since you're no longer around to make his life miserable! Leave Max alone!" snapped Zero who was trying to drive Frost away for Max's happiness.
Zett was silent. He was trying to understand what was really going on between Zero and the Ultra that had attacked them.
'How did Shishou know about that Ultra? What exactly happened between them? Why did Shishou mention Max's name and what does it mean?' was what Zett was thinking at the moment.
"You'd better stay out of my business! This is just between me and Max. I am his superior and you have no right to involve yourself with the affairs of both of us as superior and subordinate," Frost hissed.
"You're not his superior anymore! You don't live in the Land of Light anymore either! You better stay away from Max or I'll kick your ass, you sex offender!" swore Zero.
The last two words spoken by Zero left Zett both shocked and confused. He didn't understand why his master called the Ultraman named Frost a sex offender. What exactly was going on?
"You better just accept the fact that you've been exiled! All of the Ultras have tried to forget your name. Even if they still talk about you, they only remember you as an Ultra who treated his former
Frost clucked in annoyance. "I'm just wasting my time if I have to argue with you. You'd better just tell Max that my business with him is still not done. One day, I'll be back again and will discipline that insolent young Ultra because he prefers to listen to a bunch of losers like you, Zero." After he said that, Frost immediately flew away leaving Zero and Zett behind.
Zero just stared at Frost who had flown away to leave him and Zett with anger and resentment. "I'd prefer not to tell Max for his safety. It's better than him having to meet an asshole like you again." Zero tried not to say that out loud and it almost sounded like a whisper, but Zett could still hear it.
"Shishou, are you familiar with the Ultra from just now? Why are you calling that Ultra a sex offender? What did he do?" asked Zett who began to bombard Zero with questions.
Zero sighed heavily. He wanted to tell Zett, but he also didn't want to bring up the past incident again. "I don't want to say it, Zett."
Zett shook his head. "No, Shishou! I need to know that too. Explain to me about Ultra just now!" Zett demanded that Zero explain to him about the Ultraman named Frost and the reason why he was exiled.
Zero turned his body around, then looked at Zett. "Zett, sometimes there are things that are better left forgotten and I also try not to remember events that I shouldn't remember. It's better for you to pretend today's events never happened, including forgetting the Ultra you just met today," was the answer Zero gave to Zett.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Zero didn't know what he should do now. Even after his exile, Frost still didn't want to leave Max alone.
"That bastard. What should I do if he really shows himself again? I can't let him come to hurt Max again," Zero muttered.
