"Well, she is a ghost, so she's probably fast." Jack sighed.
"No, I don't think that it's because she's fast," Helios paused his sentence as he walked to my bed, "and she can't just be in two places at once. It's not like she can just spit into two entities and have conscience over both." Helios finished his sentence as he sat down on the bed.
"What do you mean?" I asked.
"Let me ask you a question real quick, think hard and be honest with me, please. How many times have you seen 'her'?" Helios asked as he emphasized.
"Quite a few times now, why?" I questioned once again.
"Did her eyes always sparkle, were they always dull, or did her eyes switch between being sparkly and being dull?" Helios asked as he clamped his hands in a praying position up against his forehead.
"Now that I think about it, a couple of times that I have seen her, her eyes have sparkled, but other times they have been dull. Why? Is there an issue with that?" I asked.
"I am not exactly sure how to put this but, take into consideration what I am about to tell you.... Usually, if it is a spirit or an entity in its original form, their eyes sparkle. I'm not sure if it's because they feel safe or comfortable which causes them to change their eyes, but my father, well the head of the church, told me that if their eyes sparkle, it's the original person and usually you wouldn't have a problem." Helios said as he rubbed his eyes.
"But, what if their eyes were dull?" I asked.
"Then they're not in their true form, they are trying to take on someone else." Helios shivered.
"That doesn't make sense. I think your father has it wrong because she has both. Her eyes sparkle sometimes and then other times her eyes are dull." I sighed.
"No, I don't think that's the case. I think that we are dealing with two different 'people'. One of them is lying and trying to be someone that they're not, but we don't know what their purpose of doing this is. Because it would only make sense that they're two different people if she's in two places at once." Helios said as he leaned against the vanity.
Silence filled the room as we each looked at each other, silently begging one another to break the drie silence.
One of us finally broke the silence, but unfortunately, it was Jackson,
"Well now that we've come up with this idea, what do we do now, or should I say what do we need to do now?'' He asked.
"We find the source." Helios replied.
"What do you mean by finding the source? We have already found the source.
It's Alina, Aisha's alleged twin sister." Jack scoffed.
"That's not what I mean, Jack. I mean her source, like her power source, whether it be a room or an object of grief." Helios glared.
"Wouldn't it be my mom's diary, well our mom's diary? Alina has a tendency to use it to communicate. She writes in it sometimes." I asked.
"You have it in your possession right now, it is an object of grief but it doesn't seem to hold a lot of power in it. So that means that it has to be something else, something bigger." Helios replied.
"But we have already checked all inside of the house, that diary seems to be the only thing that she's attached to." Jack replied.
"No Jack, we haven't checked the whole inside of the house. There's one place that we haven't checked.....
The West Wing......" I shivered as chills crawled up my spine.
"Are you sure that you want to go up there? With that place being off limits like your father said, if we go up there, and he finds out, it won't be pretty and who knows how he's going to react." Jack sighed.
"Jack we're going to have to go up there sooner or later, and we have two choices, we are either going into The West Wing or we are going under the house. We don't need to go into the attic, I have already been there and there was nothing besides a portrait of my mother." I sighed.
"Speaking of objects. When I just saw Alina, she talked with me. Well, not necessarily talked to me but she answered my questions through writing when I asked her questions before she showed herself. The writing mentioned a key and a box. Do either of you have any idea about one of those objects?" Helios asked.
"Oh my gosh. I completely forgot about those! A couple days ago she led me to a box and then we found a key. We just haven't opened it!" I gasped.
"Alright, we'll, we're going to need to do that later." Helios smiled. "But for now, you need to get dressed and I need to talk to Jack, privately if you don't mind." Helios smiled.
Third Person's Point Of View:
"Jack, let's talk in the hallway for a minute. Aisha, please stay here and get dressed. We don't want you catching a cold." Helios smiled.
"Okay, Heli!" Aisha smiled.
"Umm Is it okay if I call you that?" She asked.
"You can call me whatever you please, miss Aisha." Helios smiled, patting her on the head.
As Helios turned around he saw a scowling look in Jack's eyes which made him scoff.
"Let's go, Jack." Helios waved as they walked out of the room, closing the door and stood in the hallway.
